Corinne, Mistress of Chains

Corinne... has a reputation.

As a 'bad girl' of the arena, the Mistress of Chains has a lot of arena experience and is a crowd favorite among those who prefer things to go to more... extreme lengths.  She is known for her lack of mercy and her sadistic forfeits. Like many arena combatants, her origins are shrouded in mystery; speculations range from "she is a highly specialized mage who has discovered a new type of magic" to "she is actually the daughter of a 'chain demon' and a mortal woman."  What IS known is that before the arena, she was a leader of a mercenary group known as the "Black Binds".  Her questionable actions as leader of that group have apparently landed her in the arena.

Corinne is tall, with statuesque proportions, and bronzed from the sun from head to toe. Beneath her 'armor,' she's a bombshell with a lovely rack, athletic legs, and a firm ass. Something about her features are exotic, as well; she sports a dark, almost silver-black head of hair bound behind her head with some jewelry.  Her eyes are a dark, steely brown and she keeps her full lips painted a dark purple color.  The most interesting thing about her appearance in the arena is her 'armor,' though.  From her collarbone to her lower thigh, she is wrapped in seemingly endless chains that form a dress.  Several excess links dangle from her 'garment', and anyone who's seen her fight knows that these are also her weapons.  The myriad tangle of chains coming loose from her body are quite animate, and seem to have a life of their own a lot of the time.  In particular, one longer, thicker chain boasts a four-pronged claw at the end which has proven more than capable at slashing her opponent's clothes to ribbons.

Abilities and Techniques...

Corinne's 'clothing' and her weapon are the same.  She starts out strong, but the more of her chains that she loses, the more desperate she gets.  Corinne is a mighty opponent, but she's naked beneath those metal links.  As long as she has her chains, she is versatile and powerful.  She knows this and fights accordingly.

That said, Corinne uses her advantage to the fullest while she has it.  She is famous for using several tentacle-like chains to constrict or distract her foe while the chain with the claws on the end of it does work to her foes.  Also, since her favored fighting environment happens to be the sandy floor of the arena, opponents have to be very careful about the trap-like lengths of chains she weaves through the sand.



((Zapp Wolfe (whom I believe is no longer with us) rendered this for me a long time ago... I figured I'd post this for reference (and in tribute) since it does a better job than my description in some regards.  If she doesn't look like too main of a pain in the ass to render, feel free to come up with your own version of this if you want, Myds!  I'm not even sure if she'll make it into a match, but I thought it'd be nice to have the option for her here.

*every time Corinne takes a successful hit from her opponent to her garments (presumably up to 5-6 'articles' can be lost before she's naked), these stats are reduced by 1 to reflect the loss of chains.

I may be able to come up with something that looks darn similar, I'll just have to figure out the dress. The arena in the background is even the same one I'm using, lol.

Is there any text about making it anywhere? I think I can figure out the chain outfit, but finding the same face/hair combo would be awesome...even anything like the year it was made could help, or if there's any text about it. I haven't done it because I'm a bit obsessed with doing it right.

Only thing I can tell you is that it was made before or around the year 2012? 2013? The face and hair aren't as important to me when it comes to it being exactly the same, though it was nice -- as long as what you come up with fits the exotic, fierce feel of the character. Take your time and don't stress about trying to make it exactly the same, friend ^_^

Been away today, but I managed to find the right hair. I'm asking the community for help on the skin/makeup. I only shared the face in the question.

Some nice person on the 3d forums helped me find the right skin. I'm not finished by a longshot, but with the woman right, I can understand how to proceed to the clothing.

Dark purple lips have since been applied. I'm reading the description and adjusting as necessary, just so happy to have her looking like what I see in the other image.

The chain dress in my opinion, might be a bit too revealing...but it's pretty tricky to make. I left out all the randomly-posed chains for now, that's time consuming in and of itself. I have respect for how much the original artist must have gone through troubleshooting to get that dress to have the right chain/hole thickness ratio to act as a garment.

Come to think of it, he may have used multiple chain wraps in places--I'll look into that, another day...and one more thing...due to the way the skin is painted, she'll always have at least a very narrow strip of pubic hair. I can always add more, but not less than a narrow line.

She looks stunning, friend! And yes , the chains I imagine are the trickiest part -- I have only a vague idea of how time consuming it must be to get that right , but great appreciation for it. These renders are always quite exciting, and this is no exception...

And Corinne favors the "totally" clean shaven look btw. If you're over on OCC sometime Corinne made her first appearance in a fight against Ashley (in my old Enferia chronicles thread) where I may have given her description more detail...

I could, perhaps change the mesh, but the results in that area will look a little 'blurry' then.
