The New Crimson Hammer

The new Crimson Hammer mercenaries (as opposed to the old, who died fighting int he battle where Hilelvi was knocked unconscious and taken prisoner) are a collection of mercenaries put together by Zoraida, via having their sentences commuted from life in a dungeon to pushment in the Arena.

They had been sentenced for human trafficking, a charge of which they had no chance of being acquitted because, when a group of adventurers brought them down, one of their captives was a high-ranking member of the merchant's guild. They still hold a grudge against those adventurers (Niniane, Miryala, Alexia).

Their jail time changed them. While they were already hardened warriors with questionable morals before (human trafficking?), they lost some weight in the dungeons. (Although to Giuliana's chagrin, not an ounce of it seemed to have come from their big backsides.) Early on in their stay, Sarasia asked Giuliana how she felt about other women. She replied that she was only interested in men. She came to regret that comment as the months went by. Sarasia and Pameleine, who shared a cell, grew closer. Giuliana was frustrated at not having intimacy, and one day, when Sarasia and Pameleine were enjoing each toerh's company to a degree that frustrated the lonesome woman, she decided to try to force her smaller, elven cellmate into providing such. Whent he screams drew the attention fo the guards, they made a change in accomodations, removing the vulnerable elf and putting a large ogress in the cell with Giuliana.

This changed Giuliana's intrest in intimacy, as she couldn't even scratch herself without the horny ogress putting her down on the straw mat that served as a bed, and sitting on her face. Giuliana had no interest in pleasuring that foul-smelling beast, except that the ogress would handle her body roughly while continuing to sit on her face if she did not. This was her main reason for jumping at the deal she was offered. Since then, she's had a difficult time pleasuring herself. She thinks that if she had someone else involved in her sexual pleasure, almsot no matter what the circumstances, that would help. But that hasn't happened, yet, so she is generally pent-up and angry. Adding to that that she always considered herself the leader of the three of them when her mercenary captain wasn't present, she resents being put under the control of another mercenary, even one as famous as Hillevi.

Pameleine is the quick one of the group. She always wins in practice sparring, and she's formidable in combat. If their mercenary careers hadn't been cut short when they were captured, she would have been up for promotion in her old organization. She's deadly serious compared to Sarasia, who enjoys her company even though she thinks she ought to lighten up. She's impressed with Sarasia's sense of humor, and although she and Giuliana used to be close, seh know sees her former friend as a third wheel.

For all Giuliana's thinking she should be the leader, Sarasia has been the brains of the group. She's not as prideful as Giuliana, nor as serious as Pameleine, so she doesn't mind being under command of Hillevi or Zoraida. Her weakness is her clumsiness, and her strong feelings for Pameleine. She also sees her former friend Giuliana as a third wheel, and finds her sexual desperation tiring, but she tries to make peace between her and Pam.

Zoraida has provided them with new swords, shields (for adventuring more than the arena), and uniforms, which consist of a partially armored corset and skirt. Although they are armored, the corsets are still functional, and might be doing the group some serious figure flattery.
