Face:  Iris has a pleasant face.  She is attractive, with big eyes, long lashes, and curvy lips.  Although her features suggest intelligence, they also seem without guile.

Hair: Her hair is long and curly, dyed red and black, the colors of her noble house.

Body: Iris is pear shaped and what one might best call pudgy.  Her breasts are large, but her backside dwarfs the rest of her.  She's always been teased about that and her thick thighs, and that still gets to her.

Clothes: Not having an adventuring bone in her body, Iris only has court clothes. Richly decorated in the colors of her house, red and black, her most practical outfit consists of a corset, skirt, sleeves, and a frilly overskirt.

Bio: Iris was born to a noble family with large estates in the country, and had the luck, she thought, to travel to Enferia to be a lady-in-waiting.  What she didn't know, however, was how dangerous the capital could be for a trusting soul.  He life at home had been a sheltered one, and while she learned all the manners and etiquette of a court, she learned none of the intrigue and backstabbing that one finds in the large capitals.

While in the palace, she ran afoul of a very ambitious lady-in-waiting who saw her naivete, gained her trust, and picked her brain for knowledge of her family's part of the country.  When she was deemed no longer useful, the young woman had a servant steal a pendant from the queen, and hide it in Iris' chambers.  When Syndra noticed it missing, the same servant "discovered" it there in the presence of others, and Syndra had Iris arrested.

Her family came to the capital for her trial, and no one believed that Iris would have stolen from the queen.  But the evidence was overwhelming, and Iris was condemned to the arena.  She was dumfounded by the whirlwind of events, and finds her humiliation even harder to bear knowing that her parents will be still be in Enferia during her first match.

Iris is hard-working, somewhat astute, but far too trusting.  She is loquacious and easy to get along with and liked by those who talk to her.  She apologizes too frequently.

Skills:  
Iris' skillset is not ideal for a situation like the arena.  Everyone who knows her is pretty certain she will be defeated every time, but who knows?

Speech: Iris can convince people to think like she does, although she lacks the guile to use it dishonestly.  If something is true, she can convince others if she wins in a charisma check.

Etiquette: She knows all the proper titles with which to address people, and generally acts in an ever-so-polite manner.  This likely amounts to very little in the arena.

Seamstress:  Part of the training of a noble lady is the art of sewing and embroidering.  If she gets her hands on a garment, she knows which ways to pull it to tear the seams.
