Adventure : The mysterie of the Ancient Dwarven Stronghold

A new offer has post on the job board :

*The Great human inventor Yuki, search follower to explore an ancien and abandoned dwarven stronghold. legendary dwarf creation, gold, gems and other wealth are for those who want to come with me ! met me at the northern exit of the town if you want to join me !*

At the northern entrance of the town, Yuki was waiting for adventurer who maybe want to go with her.

((I'm totally down for this. Can we finish one of the two other threads first, though? Also, is there room for more? I don't want to hog all the spots.))

Down the street, she noticed a red robe. It was making its way in her direction. As it got closer, she could see the woman who was wearing it. She was young, with shoulder-length brown hair, deep, intelligent-looking brown eyes and a rebellious smile. A silver nose ring was the only jewelry she had on. "You are Yuki, I take it? I'm Jessica. I'm a fire mage. I thought I might join your expedition."

(No problem. we can finish the other threads first and your the first who ask for a place in this adventure !)

((I haven't forgotten about this. The warlord fortress is so fun, looking forward to the new one. And maybe some arena action.))

Princess Ellia, hearing of the mission, eagerly agrees to join them. Anything to avoid another humiliating arena match! Also, if she can get away from the capital perhaps she can escape and flee back to her own lands!

((You can send two characters if you want. Because actually, Ellia is not very useful except fo trap activation girl !^^))

Yuki was sitting on a chair in a tavern, next to her was waiting a girl who looked like a teenager with blond hair and a full plate armor.

"I introduce myself, I'm Yuki Ironwire. A great Alchemist and inventor from the eastern realm. You are all here because you want to join me in the exploration of the ancien dwarven stronghold ! This woman next to me is Alana, don't be fooled by her appearance she's 18 years old ! She was with us on the order of the Queen. No you tell what kind of skill or talent you've got that can be useful for this exploration."

Fujimi looked the girl present here and waited for they're answer.

The bartender wiped her hands in her apron, gestured for Belle to handle the customers, and walked over to the group. She was short, rather stocky, but with ample curves, and had a pleasant face. Her hairstyle was notably dwarven, with long bangs around her round face, and a pair of braids falling to her shoulders. With an obviously false air of politeness, she addressed them, "A thousand pardons, noble adventurers. I didna' mean to evesdrop, but did I hear you were goin' to the ancient Dwarven Stronghold? I noticed you got no proper Dwarf with you. As a former miner, I know more than a little about Dwarf constructions. Now, I'm in a bit of a hard times lately, so for a share of the profits, I'll come along and show you how a dwarf does things. I daresay, I will come in handy."

Both Princess Ellia and Selene were acting haughty and superior. Ellia's royalty made it difficult to mingle with commoners such as these. Also, in her lands Dwarves were considered filthy dirty merchants. Also, she was terrified someone would say something about her wig. Since getting her head shaved in the arena she'd worn a blonde wig, which didn't match her complexion or eye brow color at all!

For Selene, the reason for her attitude was plain and simple ego. None of these women were mages, let alone a mage of her caliber. None of them had proven themselves in countless arena battles. She was surely more educated then the lot of them put together!

"And I suppose you'll need me to disable any spells or magic devices we encounter." Selene said. Before anyone responded she went on. "Yes, I assumed as much. Well, I suppose you can have my services, for a decent share of the profits."

Meanwhile, Yuki seemed to be eyeing the princess.

"And you, little princess?" Yuki asked. "What do you offer the party? I see you have no sword, no weapons at all!"

Ellia didn't mention that she still had her magic breeze handkerchief and her poisoned comb, Plus one more freezing tiara jewel. The family mage who had presented her with these gifts warned her to try to keep them secret.

"I bring the training of a member of the royal family, plus many skills and abilities you may not yet be aware of!"

Jessica rolled her eyes at Seline's haughtiness. She had seen it before, and there was nothing about her iconoclastic young personality that enjoyed tolerating people who thought they knew it all. And that princess! She seemed useless. Was that a wig on her head? For now, though, Jessica held her tongue.

"Lemme go and geat my gear," Minna said, disappearing upstairs and coming down a few minutes later in an entirely different outfit, of mismatched pieces of armor, and small bags holding whoknowswhat on her belt, and was that a frying pan on her side? Luckily, she also had what appeared to be an old-looking dwarven hammer, that looked equally useful for working the forge or smashing heads. One thing was clear to everyone as she clanked down the stairs: she wasn't a stealthy person.

oh that's right!

"Great ! a Dwarf Girl come with us ! your welcome ! I need your helps and your knowledge of the darwen tongues ! So everyone, take your packages and put your traveling clothes ! We will met in 1 hours at the south exit of the city ! those who will be late, will be left behind ! So lady disband and see you in 1 hours at the south exit ! We will wait nobody even you miss little princess !"

Yuki stand up and leave the tavern. She was thinking that the dwarf was a great asset in her team, but the princess ? she see a only utility for her, disarm the trap. She hoped she have a useful traveling suit.

Seline smiled smugly at Ellia. She looked absurd in that wig! She wasn't fooling anyone! Ellia refused to engage Seline, or even look in her direction. She was furious, but she was glad Seline was coming. Maybe she'd find a way to turn the tables on Seline. If she got the chance she'd shave off Seline's lucious black hair, that would show her!

The two left the tavern to each make their own perporations. In an hour they both were by the South Gate. Ellia had brought her own steed: an impressive horse with ribbions in it's mane. Ellia still wore her dress and rode side saddle. She looked totally unprepared for an adventure in the wild. Little did the others know horseback riding was one of Ellia's few skills. She had been trained since childhood, and loved the activity. She could ride side saddle as well as most men could ride sitting and could easily throw a leg over the horse and ride full saddle, though this cause a bit of display with her billowy skirts!

Seline sat on her own horse, a bit away. It was difficult for her to get up onto a horse, with her own significant girth and rather weak legs. At least her big backside provided some padding! She had her robe pulled and tossed to one side, her bloomers showing on her thighs a bit. She seemed grumpy to be on a horse.

Jessica arrived with a rented pony. It looked somewhat small for the job. It wouldn't be as fast as the other steeds, but--wait, is that a donkey? Jessica knew Minna already from the Bodice. Well, she didn't really KNOW her. She had bought a lot of drinks from her and made small-talk.

"That's quite the steed you got there!" "Well, don't you be tellin' the owner I brought her. She isn't exactly mine." "Stolen?" "Bah, do I look like a thief to you? I borrowed her from work. she usually carries my ingredients for the brewing. Today, she carries me and me gear. I reckon its the same to her."

Jessica nodded, and gestured that they should catch up with the others.

After seeing Ellia in such attire, Yuki make a facepalm ! "Seriously ???? Excuse me Princess ! But we don't go to a garden party ! We go to an adventure into the wild and we going to explore an ancient Dwarf stronghold !!!!!!!!! So you have ten minute flat to turn back, remove this useless dress and put you travel clothes ! Or I ask to Alana to put the down the horse, to strip you to your underwear and dress you with the right clothes ! And she will do that here right in the street !"

Alana looked Ellia with an evil grin, she wanted that the princess don't execute the order of Yuki, only to have the pleasure to strip her.

"The other girl are alright. So we waiting the decision of miss little princess !!!!!!!!" Say Yuki while her eyes seem throwing lightning to Ellia.

"Are you serious? What business is it of yours what I wear?" Ellia shot back. "My comfort is my own business. I guarantee that I will not slow you down. In fact, I wager none of you can keep up with me!"

Yuki looked at her gun then Ellia. But she prefers to make her word an execution ! "Alana put this useless girl down to reality and make her wear some travel clothes now !!!!!!!!!"

"With Pleasure, Mistress !" Alana went to Ellia, grab her hand and try to pull her down (( strength test : 17) We will use D10))

Ellis was shocked as she was ripped off her horse. She fell to the dusty ground, dirtying her gown and knocking her wig askew.
Frantically Ellis drew her poison comb and tried to stab it in Alan's hand!

Alana dodge with lightning reflex the attack ((18, critical !)) and catch the second hand then block the two hand with one of her. Next she begin to strip Ellia from her dress )(dex check : 17)) under the pleasing watch of the people who began to enjoy the show in the street.
