There were a few perks to being sent to assassinate a noble. You got to see beautiful places, meet (and potentially kill) interesting people, and impersonate society's elite. In a way it was like a big game of pretend, albeit with high stakes. Simply put, this contract had it all.

It had been easy enough to lure her target somewhere private. A sultry gown, a whispered word, and vague promises were all it took. Caterina had just finished disposing of the body when everything went wrong. Apparently Caterina wasn't the only person employing deception tonight, as "servants" all over the party began to attack the guests, falling upon the highborn ladies and stripping them bare.

One intriguing thing Caterina's keen eyes noticed was that the attackers were almost entirely made up of elves and half-elves, with only a handful of humans.

Perhaps tonight wasn't the best night to fake being upper class...

Caterina always made sure she was as well equipped as possible before a mission, but this dress didn't give enough space to wear anything more than her underwear, much less hide a sword. She knew that open combat was the least preferable of her options, so, copying a technique she saw someone else at the gala use, Caterina simply remained in the room she was already in, hoping no one would look for her there.

Caterina could hear the sound of the fake servants outside. By the sounds of it there were dozens of them, far too many to take even if she were properly armed and armored.

"Spread out, search the entire building! Anybody found hiding gets brought to the main hall and stripped like the others!" a voice ordered. "You four, check that hall! Search every room top to bottom, you got me?!"

"Yes ma'm!"

The sounds died down somewhat then, but Caterina could hear the four left behind as they systematically opened and searched every room in the hall. She couldn't just wait in that room forever or they were going to find her. She'd need to find a better place to hide or figure out some other way to deceive the attackers.

Hearing attackers on their way and fearing the worst of their arrival, Caterina quickly looked around the room, hoping to find anything of use. She saw the bed and her victim from before, and figured that dead could be mistaken for sleeping under the covers, an easy target. After preparing the body, Caterina tried to hide out of sight behind a dresser and take the "servants" by surprise. It's a good thing Caterina had her small knife concealed in her sleeve. Well, less of a knife and more of just a blade.

The door to the room creaked open accompanied by the soft jingle of keys as a "servant" returned them to her belt. Four figures stepped into the room, stopping just inside the doorway.

"Must be a heavy sleeper to still be out with all this commotion." the figure in front said. "You and I will take care of our sleeping guest. You two, search the room for anybody hiding."

The lead figure and the woman to her right crept toward the bed where Caterina's victim had been posed. Meanwhile, the other two women drew their blades and slowly crept around the perimeter of the room.

"Wait a second..." the leader said, pulling back the covers of the bed. "This one's not asleep! On your toes, girls, we've got a dangerous one on our hands!"

The two women walking the perimeter tensed up, their stances becoming more defensive as the two women at the bed moved to join them.

Well, that plan didn't work. Caterina figured that the only advantage she had was surprise, and that wasn't enough to get her to the door through four contenders. Two, however might be possible. Having a dresser on top of you kind of eliminated you from a chase, so Caterina planned to push the dresser at the first attacker to reach it.

In spite of being an assassin, Caterina hated to spill blood unless it was from a target. She was, however, willing to make an exception. Once her cover was blown, the assassin was going to lunge at the second-nearest "servant" and hold the blade against her throat, holding her hostage.

Caterina waited with bated breath as the nearest attacker got closer and closer to the dresser. Doing her best to estimate the assailant's speed, Caterina slowly counted down in her head as she slipped an arm between the wall and the dresser. Once she hit zero, the assassin pushed, toppling the heavy wooden furniture over. The false servant gave a startled cry before being pinned to the ground.

Leaping over the fallen wardrobe, Caterina pulled her blade from her sleeve and fell upon the second attacker. The woman, off guard from the shock of what had happened, put up little resistance as Caterina slipped behind her and put the blade to her throat.

The other two assailants stopped in their tracks, weapons still at the ready, but advancing no further. The one that seemed to be in charge, an elven woman with snow-white hair, gave Caterina an appraising glance.

"Well played, little lady." the leader purred. "You're clearly no normal highborn parasite. In fact, I daresay you're not even highborn at all. The only fighting these nobles know is stuffy up front combat."

"I'll take that as a compliment, but I really need to get going." Caterina retorted, walking slowly towards the door.

"Now, I can't have you follow me, so I'm going to have to ask you to drop your weapons and kick them over to the door. The same goes for your clothes; I'm sure your friend here doesn't want to be the only naked one." And, with that, Caterina sliced her blade down the clothes of the "servant" she was holding.

"ACK! You psycho!" Caterina's hostage yelped, blushing as her body was quickly bared.

"Okay, okay, calm down..." the leader said, giving her companion a small nod.

The two women dropped their weapons, kicking them over to Caterina's feet. Then, slowly, they began to disrobe. As more of their bodies became exposed, Caterina could see a multitude of tattoos on their bodies, most of them in a language she didn't seem to recognize, or at least not a dialect she was familiar with.

When she was down to her panties, the leader stopped, her fingers under her waistband. "Okay, I think we've made it clear enough that we're not going to fight you. Can you at least let my friend go? We've complied enough for you to take your blade off the poor thing's throat."

Why do I have to have compassion? Our assassin sighed and pushed her captive over to the others, but she also switched her knife to her off-hand and picked up the sword the leader was using.

"Alright, you can have your friend, but only because you've been compliant so far. Now, just finish undressing, and I'll be on my way." Caterina ordered, eager to get on her way.

"Yes, of course. I just wanted to make sure my friend would be safe. After all, you're the murderer here." the leader said, her tone absent of accusation. "Now then, for my last garment..."

The white-haired elf shimmied her panties down her slender legs, pausing as the waistband of the garment reached her mid-thigh. In a flash, one hand dove into the back of her panties and pulled out several thin throwing daggers. With a practiced swipe of her arm, two blades soared through the air towards Caterina. One blade cracked against the hilt of her pilfered sword, while the other sliced past the side of her dress, exposing whatever lie beneath.

The other two women made their move as well. One grabbed for the weapon held by the woman pinned under the dresser, while the other fell into a martial arts stance.

"For your impressive skills, as well as your mercy for my friend, we will let you go. We'll forget all this unpleasant business happened." the woman said in her even tone. "With three on one, I think I'm being quite generous."

"Well, it would be rather stupid to test those odds, and I do admire the cleverness of your knives. Arrivederci." Caterina started to leave, slightly embarrassed that her white silk panties were now on display, but it definitely could've been worse.

"But, if you don't mind me asking, why are you staging this attack in the first place?"

"Curious, aren't you?" the leader teased. "It's simple, really. We're sick and tired of the way our people are treated. Oh, there are no official laws that oppress elves in Enferia, but society has a habit of looking the other way when we suffer injustice. What happened here tonight is merely a taste of retribution."

The other women seemed to nod in agreement. Clearly this was a subject the assailants felt strongly about. Strongly enough to stage a massive attack on the nobility, at least.

"There's your answer. Now get out of here before we relieve you of that pretty little dress of yours. And watch out for my comrades. They're not likely to be as generous as I." the white-haired elf said, giving Caterina a sly wink.

Caterina's time in the room with the anti-government activists had been sufficient time for things to die down around the manor. There were still sounds of combat and humiliation, to be sure, but not as close and not as frequent. Getting out of this madness was probably the best idea at the moment, and Caterina wasted no time in making her way to the manor grounds.

Progress was a bit slower than the assassin would have liked. The slash to her dress that exposed her panties had also caused the lower half of her dress to sag around her hips, bunching up and slowing her down. It might be more efficient to just do away with the lower half of the dress for the sake of speed. Of course, that would leave her legs rather bare...

That was a minor issue, in any case. Far more important was the question of how to pass the gate. Things might have calmed down, but there were still very unhappy looking criminals posted at the gate.

Going through the guards was certainly not the most secret way to leave the estate, and our assassin definitely preferred secrecy. Spotting the gate at the rear of the area, Caterina knew that climbing the fence was the best option.

Of course, Caterina also knew she couldn't well climb with her dress sagging the way it was, so she cut off the bottom half with her knife (she had dropped the sword earlier, too conspicuous.)

Blushing and shivering slightly, now that her lower half was covered in naught but her panties, matching stockings, and white high heels, Caterina started sneaking towards the fence, staying near the hedges as she went. Caterina planned to ditch the heels once she needed to climb.

Solo (Mis)Adventure: Caterina's troubles. Empty Re: Solo (Mis)Adventure: Caterina's troubles.

Caterina reached the fence with no trouble. The guards seemed confident that the party guests would only attempt to escape through the gate rather than try to scale the fence or force their way through the hedges. To their credit, they were right for the most part.

Slipping out of her heels, Caterina prepared to scale the fence. Whoever had installed it knew what they were doing; the fence was tall and the bars were smooth, spaced closely enough that a person couldn't squeeze through but far enough that they didn't allow for a comfortable grip.

Still, Caterina was a trained assassin, and such security measures were what she'd been trained to slip past. This would be little trouble. At least, it would be little trouble with her normal tools of the trade. As it was, Caterina's plan for tonight's mission hadn't called for said tools, and they'd have been difficult to conceal in her disguise. It wouldn't be quite so easy or comfortable, but it would still be doable.

Taking a firm grip and planting her feet against the bars, Caterina slowly shimmied her way up the fence, making admittedly good progress. Caterina reached the top of the fence and quickly swung a leg over the top to switch sides... and ran into a problem. As her legs spread when crossing the top of the fence, the end of a bar caught the underside of Caterina's panties, the cold metal pulling the flimsy fabric aside and brushing against her lower lips.

The assassin might have been able to free her panties from the fence, but that would require the use of her hands. Said hands were already occupied with supporting Caterina's weight, but perhaps she could be quick enough to avoid any problems. Or Caterina could swallow her pride, chalk up the panties as a loss, and continue her way over and down the fence.

This lack of guards back here seems somewhat suspicious, but at least no one is here to see my panties. Now, I just need to get over this- "Oh..." Caterina stopped dead when she felt the disturbance the fence had caused her.

Caterina knew she couldn't be seen in anything less than her panties, so she knew what she had to do. "Asta dannati," the assassin muttered under her breath as she got to work.

Determined not to lose her panties, Caterina straddled the fence and moved her hands to the delicate fabric that graced her hips. Losing the support of her arms, Caterina's body slipped down the fence just a bit, but enough to make things uncomfortable.

The fence bar that had caught her panties slid between her lower lips, cold and hard. While it didn't penetrate terribly deep, it was still deep enough to be impossible to ignore. It didn't help matters that Caterina's panties seemed to have snagged fairly badly, forcing the assassin to shift her weight in all kinds of directions as she fought to separate her panties from the bar.

After what must have felt like an eternity, Caterina finally freed her panties, the silk fabric slipping back into place as she freed herself from the fence bar. Quickly (but carefully) hoisting her other leg over the fence, Caterina braced herself, took a deep breath, and hopped down.

There was a small ripping sound as Caterina descended. After she safely hit the ground, the assassin looked over her shoulder to see that some of her remaining dress had caught on the fence when she jumped. Nothing intimate was showing, but Caterina was now showing off a great deal of her slim belly and back.

I can't let myself be too distracted by this bar. Caterina was determined, but that didn't stop her from drawing some slight amount of pleasure from her unusual predicament. Why are these panties so stuck on here? The assassin was just about to give up when she finally freed the panties.

Good, now I can finally get down. Caterina thought as she prepared herself for the jump. When she heard the ripping sound, Caterina was sure she wasn't going to like what she was about to see. "Merda," Caterina cursed in an attempt to seem tough to anyone who might have been around, but she was starting to blush more deeply now that more of her fair, white skin was on display.

I just need to get out of here, and back to the inn I was using; I have some more clothes there. Caterina reasoned to herself as she started walking away, somewhat distracted by the feeling of grass under her stockinged feet. I might have to ditch these stockings.

Caterina must have made a strange sight, moving across the city streets in stockings, panties, and what little of the upper portion of her dress remained. Enferian fashion could be odd, for sure, but never quite that odd.

It was a quiet night, if a bit on the chilly and breezy side. Luckily for Caterina, she'd taken up residence at an inn in this district of the city. If one was to pretend to be a noble, it only made sense to lodge where the wealthy would lodge. Of course, expensive places meant security and important guests, neither of which would be pleasant to run into in her current state of dress.

That was a bridge Caterina would cross when she came to it. For now, it was best to focus on just getting to the inn. Her stockings, should she choose to keep them, would start to feel more and more uncomfortable as she walked down the cobblestone streets, the fabric catching on every small imperfection in the stonework.

Normally it was incredibly difficult to get the drop on Caterina. Normally, of course, Caterina was clothed and confident. For whatever reason, the assassin wasn't on top of her game when she found herself suddenly facing several rough-looking women. A quick glance over her shoulder confirmed that there were more cutting off her escape.

"Well well, what have we here? That's certainly an interesting outfit you've got on there, little miss money."

I need to ditch the stockings. Caterina concluded, so she stopped and slid them down her legs, shivering more and more as the night got colder and she lost more clothes.

Figlio di puttana. Caterina thought once she found herself surrounded by thugs. The assassin figured the least she could do was try the classic line.

"The thing is, times are tough here in the capitol for hardworking women like us. Unlike you wealthy types, we can't afford fancy silks and fine foods, especially when work dries up. Caterina sighed. "That seems pretty reasonable, given the circumstances." The only problem, besides exposing her bra, that Caterina could see was that she was still hiding her blade in her sleeve (assuming she still had her sleeves.)

In spite of this, the assassin started taking the part-of-a-dress off, hoping the thugs wouldn't notice when she dropped her blade into her bra while pulling her arm out of her sleeve, and hoping the blade would stay in place once she was done.

"Pleasure doing business with ya!" the thug said amiably when Caterina tossed the ruined garment over. "And a pleasure seeing the goods, if you don't mind me saying."

With a sharp whistle from their leader, the thugs dispersed, gone just as quickly as they'd come. At least they were gone...

Now all that was left was to get to the inn. Assuming everything went well, she might even make it without losing anything else. Of course, the night had been little more than things going the exact opposite of well. Now, clad in just her enticing undergarments, Caterina set out once again.

Just a few blocks away from the inn she'd made her temporary headquarters, Caterina found herself stopped once again. Not thugs this time, but guards, easily identified by their white enameled armor.

"Whoa, just a second there, ma'm." one guard, the pauldrons on her armor suggesting she held rank. "Where do you think you're going dressed like that?"
