Kalka the Brawler Empty Kalka the Brawler

Post by TeratonArm Fri Nov 20, 2015 9:02 pm

Name: Kalka

Race: Father was a Half-Orc, Mother a full Orc, leaving her somewhere in Between. 3/4's Orc?

Face: Strong, hard features. Looks like she's scowling a lot, and a decent amount of the time she is, but that's mostly just how her face is. Two bottom canines jut just barely above her lower lip like tusks, and they look a lot bigger when she actually opens her mouth. Has a few small nicks and scars, nothing too major, and her nose is a bit flat after healing from a few fights.

Hair: Dark green, almost black, reaching down to her shoulders.

Body Type: Due to her Orc heritage and lifetime spent as a mercenary, Kalka is tall, strong, and thick. At 6'5'', she towers over most others. She has broad shoulders that lead into a pair of muscular arms, and frame a D-cup chest. Her stomach shows abs, and her hips and legs are like tree trunks, with a big firm butt in the back. Across her green skin are scars, most just small nicks but a few showing signs of more harrowing fights. A mound of dark green hair rests between crushing thighs.

She usually wears simple leather armor over leggings and tunics, but all of it is patchwork and stitched together, or at the very least, heavily let out. It's hard to find clothes at her size, not to mention undergarments!

Bio: Kalka has spent her life getting into fights and making a living from it. With her natural size and skill, she's been quite successful- she drifts from place to place following any decent mercenary work and decent taverns. She gets some odd looks because of her appearance; Orcs don't often play nice with other people, but Kalka just brushes it off. As long as she's getting paid, and has a place to drink and cavort afterwards, she's fine with whatever life throws at her. Just watch out when she gets angry- the already intimidating woman is capable of flying into a rage when she's pushed, and some say she even seems to grow in size.

Kalka is more annoyed than anything by loss of armor. At least, down to her underwear. She's comfortable with her body, but having her bra or panties exposed starts to make her nervous, and even her face will go red (or, in her case, dark green) if she loses either.

Traits/Skills/Special Abilities:

Bar Room Brawler- Having never really received much formal training, Kalka relies on everything she's learned from years and years of getting into fights. As such, she usually has three options to fall back on in a fight: 1) Use her hands, plain and simple. There are few outfits that she can't simply pull apart, so long as she can get her hands on it. 2) Improvise with whatever is on hand. Splash drinks in peoples faces, throw chairs and flip tables, pin peoples clothes to the wall with other people's dropped knives, etc. 3) Throw her considerable weight around. She can take most hits just fine, even if her clothes always can't, and her opponents have a hard time defending their own modesty with a giant green woman pinning them to the ground.

Fighting Mad- Sometimes, when Kalka gets mad enough, gets embarrassed enough, pushed far enough, she can really let loose. She ignores her own state of undress for a moment, and gets complete tunnel vision on beating whoever made her mad. Some who have seen her fight say she even seems to change physically if pushed too far, as if she somehow connecting with that last missing 1/4th Orc in her blood. Now, it's not a big change- a couple extra inches here, a little extra muscle here. Just enough to give her an extra edge as she tries to finish a fight fast, and often times enough to finish off any already damaged or straining clothing. It wears off pretty quickly, usually just in time for Kalka to realize how much attention she's attracted to herself.

Taunt- Part of knowing how to fight involves knowing how to pick fights. Kalka doesn't usually have way with words, but she does have a way of pushing people's buttons. This can be anything from taunting them over their lack of attire, to holding them down in such a way that shows off that lack of attire to a crowd. If she's feeling a little feisty, or has had a few to drink, she might even taunt using her own body, shaking her hips or even mooning a target as if she was offering an easy target. Anything to get them angry, distracted, or otherwise make them loose focus.

So yeah. I didn't really mean to write this much when I started but here's Kalka. Don't know what Orcs are like in Enferia so, hope this fits.

Both characters presented so far are pretty interesting, Teraton, I've gotta say. I myself don't know what Cerin's take on orcs in his universe would be, so I can't give a verdict to that, but considering everything else, this seems fine to me.

Also, as you mentioned with the other character sheet, I'm all too aware that things are still pretty dead. There's no telling how long it might take for word to trickle back to the other members of the attempts to revive this. There's also the question of whether or not we'll get much in the way of outside interest. It's still VERY touch-and-go, it would seem.

Yeah, seems like it might need a little push to make it work. I know you posted on OCC about it; have you considered anywhere else? IndianOutlaw has a Story Board and a Discussion board for people who are into stripping stories and who write stripping stories, I'm sure it could get some attention if you advertised it over there.

Also, incidentally, do you have a post explaining your old battle system? I like the idea of this more loose, interpreting-the-story one, but I like the numbers and chance element sometimes too, and I think the old system I'm seeing in the old threads works alright, if in need of a little tweaking here and there. It's cool if you don't, just wanted to maybe take a look and see if I could come up with something for if I ever get to run something that I think could work better with a more concrete system to it.

I once made a green-skinned orc image that I thought was pretty attractive...I figured I could morph her into your character (by making her less chubby and more muscular), but I'm running into some snags (no pun intended) getting the tusks to stick out over the upper lip. I'll look at it again some other time.

Oh, cool! Yeah, figure the tusks might be a little iffy to work with, but I'd be happy to see what you could come up with for any of my characters.

Cool...I' probably not doing a whole ton more today, but I have an interest in this project since I long ago thought, "can you make a hot orc?" My answer to that is here, but she's much chubbier than your char, and I didn't really have the dynamics of looking like she's wearing a bra and not having the armor cling to her breasts at the time:

I was admittedly skeptical about including less and less 'human' combatants into the arena. Ultimately I concluded that orcs and anthropomorphic dragon people are a pretty large step apart, and that Kalka was an excellent addition to the roster. A large (nay, straight up muscular), athletic combatant works pretty well thematically against pretty, skinny little mages, as we saw. Her ability to dominate (or be dominated by!) a physically far inferior foe, I find pretty exciting. On top of all this, the descriptions don't really paint her as that monstrous...

That said, I think Kalka (whenever Terraton has time to be active again) would work pretty well against another warrior type too, for a knock-down-drag-out of a fight, with more battered and ripped armor, and maybe even with a few punches and kicks thrown to daze (but of course, not injure) their opponent. It would give the fight the rough, brawly feel that a fight between two bad bitches deserves, haha. (and for those of you who are unaware 'bad bitch' is 100% compliment in today's nomenclature. Yeah...Dragonkind aren't really my thing, but, elves, mermaids, part-orcs and other things...I think it's about having a basically human body and a basically human face (demihuman) that makes it OK with me. They can have humanly attractive features...what to do with a dragon head, though...I've never really seen a serpent and thought, "wow, that's sexy."

Here's my attempts to get it right. I mixed and matched armor sets, and picked the most "patchworky" ones I had. I had some pants with an insert that I thought looks like they had been taken out, but unfortunately, the fabrics looked too regal and expensive, and I wasn't currently up for creating a custom skin for them, after the work I did getting her green. Funnily, when you said her face has hard lines and she looks like she's scowling, I used a face morph I had made to resemble Sasha Banks a bit. I figured drealocks would look good, but I can change the hair if you want. I was looking for a style that didn't seem too soft for her. Oh, yeah. Didn't figure out how to add scars efficiently yet. That may be coming.

No worries. Sorry it took some time, I had a hunch I could do it right, but it took a while to figure out how.
