(We're gonna try this if any of the Mods think I'm GMing wrong, let us know, but better to forge forward and make lots of forum content, IMHO. Also, Westley, if anything seems unfair, call me out. I don't want to be unfair, as I wrote in my long post in the rules forum, the reader wins no matter which characters do. That said, let's get underway.)

It was an unusual day in Enferia for a number of reasons. First, although the weather in Enferia was often beautiful, today was a damp day. It had rained quite hard earlier in the day, and occasional showers had alternated with periods of no precipitation since then. While there was nothing unusual to Queen Syndra treating herself, and, incidentally the citizens of Enferia to the entertainment provided at the Arena, today was special. Spectators noticed the viewing sphere glowing even a little more brightly and clearly. They wondered if it had been polished, and if so, whose job was that, and how did they perform such a task. But they weren't left to wonder that long, as the announcer took his post.

"We have an unusual treat for you in the arena today. I know I've said this before, but this time, I mean we're trying something quite different. Our constabulary picked up a quartet of criminals that had been brawling at a local tavern, and asked by special request, that they should fight as a team. We've put together an incredibly strong slate of competitors to test them. Before I introduce the competitors, let's go over the rules of this unusual match. For the first part of the match, each team will field one fighter at a time. This fighter will stay in phase one of the match until she is down to two articles of clothing. At that point, the team's next member takes her place, and so on, until all but one of the competitors is down to two articles of clothing. Then, phase two of the match begins. Phase two is a free-for-all--an open melee, until one team has been completely stripped. As for the usual phase where the winner doles out whatever punishment she sees fit for the loser, we'll let the winning team decide whether each member will punish an opponent, or whether they'll do it as a group. I'm sure they'll have no problems deciding what to do."

The announcer cleared his throat. "I've been working here for years and I'm personally excited to see how this turns out. First, let's introduce the criminals I spoke of: We have Jessica, they Pyromancer, who you've seen in the arena before. I must say her performance was quite stellar. Then, three you've never seen. There's Abigail, who seems to have attended the same school for sorceresses as Jessica. Let's see if she lives up to the standard set by her classmate." Abigail, clad in the same red robes as her teammate, glared at Jessica as this line was spoken. It was clear to any observer of human nature that they weren't friends. "Then, we have..." He paused and spoke under his breath to the official next to him, "I reading this right? Mistress Lawson, the headmistress of that school." "I don't belong here...do you know how important I am?" the mage protested as the guards ushered her to the center of the arena and gave her a place in line next to Abigail.

"Lastly for the criminals, we have....ahem...she wants to be called 'Irlana the magnificent.' I think it's a bit early to judge. But I already have a magnificent view in that low-cut dress she's wearing. You'd think she'd want more than that on for what she's about to experience. Anyway, please welcome this exotic beauty from someplace far away that I can't pronounce."

"Our Arena team, so named because they were hand-picked to teach these brawlers a lesson about fighting in our taverns, includes some names that should be familiar to you. Yvette the Freedom Fighter, who Jessica handily freed of her clothes and her dignity the last time they met in this arena. The beautiful Caterina Auditoreeee dee Venez--...also someplace you've never hear of and I can't pronounce. You've seen her in our arena before, too, when Solana gave her a rather happy version of an unhappy ending, heh. We also have the Jacqueline, the Thief. The name tells you what you have to know about her profession and reason for being here. Last, but not least, we have a newcomer to town. Michelle, the Alchemist. I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing if and how her skills at mixing concoctions will help her in out games."

As the opponent lined up across from each other, they noticed how the weather affected the arena. The sunlight shone strongly through the clouds, which only softened the light some without dimming it. Due to the rain, though the arena sand was less dusty than usual, and the parts where it seemed to contain a great deal of clay were saturated, and a bit muddy.

Jacqueline nodded to Yvette across from her. For her part, Irlana barely seemed to care what was about to happen, as she drank in the applause of the crowd. It didn't matter to her if they were rooting for or against her; this was a new experience she had found nowhere else in the world. Headmistress Lawson was still ranting about how she was too important and dignified to be subjected to such a barbaric ritual. And Abigail stared at the ground, too nervous to speak.

"A coin toss was performed before the event started to decide which side would pick the order of their four opponents first. Sadly, the criminals seem to have won it, but perhaps this allows a chance for our arena team to strategize and get the upper hand. Jessica, as you've been a combatant before, you will act as team captain. Please tell us the order your fighters will use in the first Phase of combat."

Jessica bit her lip and examined her teammates. The headmistress shut up for a moment and listened. Abigail made a gesture suggesting she'd kill her classmate if she was put in first. Irlana seemed unconcerned. She considered her opponents, but she didn't know their order yet, so her selection couldn't take that information into account.

"We will field Headmistress Lawson, then Abigail. Irlana will follow them, and I will enter combat last."

"Very well," said the announcer. "We've chosen Caterina as the spokesperson for the arena team. In what order what you like your teammates to enter the match?"

Caterina, despite her arena record, stood confidently, ready to take on whatever opponent she might have to. Yvette, on the other hand, was extremely nervous about this match, because of her arena record. Michelle was a little confused; this was her first arena match, why were they making it this complicated? Jacqueline was in a similar position, but she took it somewhat better, due to her combat experience.

Caterina, taking in the reactions of her teammates and the announcer's comments, decided upon an order. "I'll go first, against an opponent who apparently has experience. Yvette will fight next, not against Jessica. Then Jacqueline, against another opponent with some degree of experience. And that leaves Michelle."

With that, she drew her sword and prepared herself for combat.

(One of the purposes of breaking it down is so we can have character-based initiative--the melee at the end will have to have "team initiative," which is a bit awkward.  It also keeps the chaos down to a few rounds at the end, and makes it easier to fully focus on the characters individually.)
Initiative Roll
Caterina 2
Headmistress 3.

As the other combatants exited the field, the Headmistress attempted to join them, still indignantly complaining.  The guards would have none of it, and blocked her exit.

"I don't belong here!  All I did was try to return a truant student to the academy where she belongs!"  She turned and gestured at the crowd, "Do you know who I am?  This won't sit well with the duchess!"  Her red robes flapped in the wind as she gestured angrily.

Realizing that her protests were getting her nowhere, she turned and regarded Caterina, and shrugged.  "Well, if we're going to play this game anyway, I suppose it's better to win.  Let's see what you're made of."

Raising her hands, she wove a spell of fire....a quick gesture targeted Caterina's pants.

Caterina had always disliked the arrogant, so fighting someone who was "above the arena" would be quite a bit of fun. She deftly dodged the fire aimed at her and charged her opponent. "I've no interest in being ignited, thank you very much," she retorted as she made a few quick slashes at the Headmistress's robes.

(Can you give me a rundown of her equipment at the end?  Or do you want me to figure it out?  Up to you.  Also, I'm going back and fixing the level of headmistress equipment--she isn't quite smart enough for silk, lol.

"It will take more than a few clumsy swings with a sword to defeat a mage like me!  And it will also take more than your preference to evade my magic."

With that, she shot another fireball at Caterina's leather Chausses.  This time, it hit home, burning them to cinders as if to punctuate her statement.  "How does that suit your interest?"

((The equipment system I use is slightly different from the one suggested for this forum, so my equipment would be slightly overpowered. I think it's best if you figure it out.))

Caterina shrieked a bit as she jumped back, surprised as she was. "I'll have you know this isn't my first time dealing with fire," she taunted as she attempted to roll behind the Headmistress. Should she succeed, the assassin planned to attack from there.

(Caterina get behind 5+2 vs 3 success! Attack 7+2, Def 1Critical failure!)
The viewing sphere picked up Caterina's words as she tumbled deftly behind the mage. The announcer took it upon himself to mention, "Do I need to remind us what happened the last time Caterina played with fire? That was a sight to remember! I've never seen a handstand like that before or since!"

Caterina, unfazed, continued with her work, slicing at the mage's robes. With a flourish, she managed to slash the mage's robes right off of her, adding a quick spank with the flat of the sword to add insult to injury. She was glad that she took this measure, as it caught the headmistress off guard. "Yeeeowch!" She jumped forward with a lurch, slipped on the wet sand, and tumbled face first to the ground, in her red underdress.

((I'm confused as to why Headmistress doesn't get an attack that round. I'll post an attack anyway.))

Caterina, seeing the position of her opponent, came up with an idea. "Oh, this is too perfect," she said as she stabbed her sword through the side of Headmistress's dress, careful to only hit the dress.

Once her sword was secure, Caterina simply waited. If all went well, when Headmistress tried to get up, she'd do so without the bottom of her dress.

(Totally right...I'm a bit tired, trying to do too much today!  I'll let it stand as if, since it was an error in your favor, if you prefer.  After this round I should sleep so I don't mess up like that)
(Caterina 5+2 =7 Defense=9-1=8 Defended)
As Caterina's sword came down, the mage rolled with surprising speed, and managed to get out of the path of the blade.  "Hah!" she taunted as she took to her feet, "You thought it would be that easy?  I've never fought in this arena, but I've seen battle plenty of times."  This time, she started a spell that made a blade of flame appear, extending a few feet from her hand.  Wielding it like a sword, she swung it around to impress the audience.  She passed Caterina's blade through it to show that it couldn't be parried, then brought her hand down as if to have the blade slice the leather Jerkin in two.
"Beware," she said, trying to sound grave, "fire consumes all!"

Caterina recoiled from the fiery blade, but quickly snaked her way up to her opponent. "You know, you make a lot of empty threats," she said she grabbed at her opponents arms, trying to get her into some sort of hold.

(Which attack? Did I miss a modifier somewhere?
Fire blade attack 2+2=4 Caterina defense 5 defended!
Attempt to grapple 3+1=4 defense 9 defended!)

The fiery blade made for Caterina's torso, but the assassin was spry enough to avoid its arc. Frustrated, the mage hopped back just as her opponent tried to grab her arms. She looked to the assassin as if you say something, but thought twice, as she was panting, out of breath from the effort of evading a much faster opponent.

(About the fire blade attack, I had the HM skip an attack, so now the initiative seems reversed)

"Haha," the mage called out by habit as she deftly dodged out of the way of the attack.  Then she looked down.  Slowly, the bottom of her dress separated from the upper portion, revealing a white thong underneath, that disappeared between the generous cheeks on either side.  Although she didn't dwell on the scene half as long as the viewing sphere did, you could tell the headmistress was scandalized.

"I'll get you for that!" she spat, conjuring a flame in her hand.  As the flame grew, she chanted playfully, "Liar, liar!" throwing it in Caterina's direction, where it ignited her trousers.  "Pants on fire," the headmistress finished, amused at her own cleverness.

"Well, after a slow start, things are beginning to heat up in this match.  I've heard of hot pants, but this is ridiculous!" the announcer pandered.

Caterina's blade came toward the Headmistress' outfit but, in an uncharacteristic moment of clumsiness, as she stepped forward, one of her ankles hit the other, causing her to stumble and miss.

"I've got you now!" the mage replied, sensing a moment of opportunity. Realizing that she would want the goodwill of the crowd, she made an incredible show of conjuring her next ball of flame, she was especially embarrassed as it fizzled out before reaching its target, having no effect whatsoever. She looked down at her exposed undergarments (the thong itself had been supplied and mandated by the arena management--she would never have worn such skimpy panties), she couldn't decide what was more embarrassing--wearing a thong in front of a giant crowd, or having her flame spell fail in front of them.

Caterina slashed again, and again the insufferable mage managed to dodge out of the way.  "You were saying?" she taunted, bowing mischievously to her opponent.

With a flourish, she cast a spell in Caterina's direction again.  This time, the spell caught the leather jerkin, incinerating significant structural parts of the armor.  The rest fell to the sands in pieces.  "My school, my rules!" the mage joked.

"Wow, this match up keeps getting more interesting," the announcer declared.  "We're close to having to pause and change opponents.  The change is important because it gives one side a short opportunity to rack up an advantage.  One single competitor will have more clothes than the other five in the final melee."

(Yeah, I guess we can forgo the shorts on this character--I'm usually more attentive, I'm very overworked this week)
(Caterina roll 1+2 (really? I'm as frustrated as you with these rolls) HM 10 (now the dice are just messing with me) Critical Failure and Critical Defense)

Caterina stepped forward again, brandishing her blade. She stepped more carefully as she tried to remove the headmistress' robe. The wily mage, however, stepped to the side again, this time, leaving a foot in Caterina's path. The assassin tumbled facefirst to the sand.

(HM roll 10+2 Critical hit Defense 3)
Taking advantage of the momentary lapse, the red-robed woman planned something a bit more complex. The sand around Caterina started moving, and took on the reddish color of fire. The fire climbed Caterina's shirt, which was soon reduced to ashes.

As the viweing sphere hovered madly over the assassin, the anouncer called out, "Halt! Caterina's team will send their next opponent into the ring."

Headmistress Lawson was smiling and waving to the crowd, her pride over her performance causing her to forget her current state of dress. Her awareness of such came racing back to her when she realized it was far from over, and a fully equipped opponent would inevitebly end up finishing the job of stripping her top off.

Caterina would have preferred to just lay face down in the sand after her embarrassing performance. Still, she forced herself up and walked out of combat, a bit of sand sticking to her red face.

Yvette walked in, an arrow already loaded into her arrow. Normally, she wouldn't want to attack an unsuspecting citizen, but the kind of oppression the woman before her represented is precisely what Yvette wanted to destroy. Because of this, Yvette planned to launch her fire arrow as soon as she could.

"Let's see if she can take what deals out," the faunus murmured to herself.

(Yvette 9+2=11 defense 4)
The announcer's voice boomed throughout the arena, "Yvette, the Freedom Fighter joins the fight!"

Just as the mage had feared, Yvette's arrow hit home before she even knew what happened to her. She screamed indignantly as her large, plain, white bra and sagging belly came into view. "Well, I, never!"

The viewing sphere hovered around her, catching every imperfection on her middle-aged body as she tried in vain to foil it by covering herself with her hands.

"Halt," called the anouncer..."That was unexpectedly even. Send in the next contestant, Abigail the, um, Pyromancer."

As Headmsitress Lawson passed Abigail on her way in, she whispered, "teach them a lesson they'll never forget."

Abigail was nervous, terrified, and it showed. Before watching the Headmistress lose to Irlana, she believed that her magical training made her indefeatable. But her idol, her mentor, had lost to some stranger. Clearly, there were dangerous people outside of the academy that she hadn't been warned about. And these people were powerful. Looking at the faunus across from her, she wondered if she had what it takes to fight here, or if she'd be humiliated in front of an entire city--its queen, its nobles, its commoners--poor, non-magical people she'd been trained to believe she was above.

She wore the same red school robes as the headmistress. Knowing that she might be facing more than she could handle, she was glad that she had been able to select her own underwear for the bout. That thong the arena management gave the headmistress seemed like a cruel joke.

But it was time to focus...Abigail tried hard to remember all the lessons she had learned about facing archers. She would soon know if she had been trained as well as she was told she was.

"aaaaaaand fight!" the announcer called out.

"I really didn't mind stripping the other girl, but you seem less ... mean. I don't think I'll get much enjoyment out of stripping you," Yvette called out to her opponent even as she was preparing an arrow for firing. While taking aim, the faunus's face reddened a little remembering her last bout with a pyromancer.

"Don't worry," she reassured herself, "it's not going to be like last time." With that, she let her arrow fly. With any luck, the arrow would lodge itself into Abigail's robes and magically make them lighter than air. It would be very hard to keep them on, then.

Abigail saw the arrow coming, but stood dumbfounded.  The faunus' aim was true.  The arrow lodged itself in the upper part of the recent graduate's robe and started to rise.  Abigail was shocked and felt entirely outclassed as the perfectly-executed plan took effect, her robes floating up off of her like a helium balloon, but faster.

The mage realized what was happening to her robes too late.  She shook her head as if waking herself from a daydream, and muttered under her breath, "Focus, Abigail...it was that freak Jessie that got you into this mess.  Just pretend you're back at school and your opponent is Jess."

With that, she conjured a basic flame spell, and took aim at the faunus' chausses, which looked a bit less complicated and durable than her jerkin.
(Abigail 4+2, Yvette 1 critical defense fail, damage 2+1)

The spell destroyed the chausses, and knocked Yvette back a few steps.  If it hadn't been for her tail, she might have fallen over.  Abigail smiled a little, as the successful attack helped her confidence.

"I've had about enough pyromancing from this 'academy,'" Yvette said once the flames were cleared. She decided to show Abigail what it felt like to be engulfed in flame. She readied a fiery arrow, and aimed for the base of her opponent's dress. Hopefully the fire would spread upward from there.

(Yvette 6 +2 Abigail 7. Hit! Yvette 1+2=3 Abigail 6 defense!)

Abigail watched in horror as the arrow hit the bottom of her dress, igniting it immediately. One of the things you learn in pyromancer school, though is how to deal with fire. She dove to the sand and started rolling around, preventing the fire from spreading to the upper part of her dress, although she did look ridiculous in the meantime.

When she rose to her feet, her linen shorts were showing. Singe marks showed that they were worse for the wear, but they still covered her panties. "I see you have some magic to use as well. Let's fight fire with fire."

It surprised no one when Abigail conjured a fire ball. She didn't try anything fancy, as the loss of the bottom of her dress had returned the look of fear to her eyes.

(Abigail attack 9+2 Yvette 1 Critical defense failure)

The fire sailed across the air toward Yvette's leather armor, almost moving too slowly to be real, but honing in on its target nonetheless. The fire burned part of the jerkin, but left its integral elements in place. It was still clinging to Yvette's body, only loosely. Abigail seemed unsatisfied.
