Yvette the Freedom Fighter

Name: Yvette Eagle-Eye (Obviously an alias)

Race: Faunus (Seems human, aside from the animal traits, in this case cat ears and a tail)

Face: Golden eyes. A strong jawline but soft, full, salmon pink lips. Elegant cheekbones, but a rough nose, crooked as though she's broken it before.

Hair: Wavy, black hair grown just past the shoulders. Typically pulled into a ponytail over her left shoulder.

Body Type: An average height, and a slightly-above-average weight. Not quite chubby, yet, but by no means is she skinny. Strong arms, legs not quite as strong. Yvette's cat ears and tail match her hair, as well as the trimmed triangle of hair above her lower lips. This body is rounded out by not-too-small B-cup breasts. (To be clear, Yvette has normal human ears in addition to the cat ears on the top of her head.)

Bio: All her life, Yvette felt as if society looked down on her. She encountered what was probably more than her fair share of bullies, so she devoted herself to taking down the oppressors in society. This refers to both the government and any large businesses that might exist. Yvette uses a somewhat liberal definition of "large:" really anything that involves more than a few people.

To combat these institutions, Yvette trained herself in the art of archery and has become quite good. She uses her skill to hit shipments of gold or other goods, and she conducts small-scale raids in an attempt to "liberate" as much currency as she can. Whatever Yvette doesn't need to continue her operations, she gives to the poorest people she can find. This has earned her a bit of a reputation as the symbol of the people, as well as a few rumors.

-She originated as a domestic house cat until a witch gave her human form. Whether this was a blessing or a curse is unknown.
-She has a fortress which she uses as refuge from the authorities. (This is true.)
-The fortress can only be found by those who know where it is.
-She has trained her tail to transfer arrows from her quiver to her bow, thereby increasing firing rate. (This is true.)
-Even on a horse, she is a master archer.
-She never misses a shot. (As much as I would like this to be true, an infallible attack doesn't seem in keeping with the RPG theme.)
-As a faunus, she has near-perfect vision even in near-total darkness. (This is true.)
-There have been several attempts to kill her, however, the first eight attempts, no matter how great they were, were doomed to fail.
-She enchants her arrows to make them more effective. (This is true.)
-When crafting her bow, which she did with master precision, she infused it with magic to improve her accuracy. She also attached blades to the end so it would be useful in close quarters combat. (This is true.)
-There is a prophecy stating that it is her destiny to overthrow the monarchy and replace it with a more equal government.
(Note: just because a rumor isn't marked as true doesn't mean it's false.)

Traits/Skills/Special Abilities:

Analytical- A high metabolism and an overactive mind mean that Yvette is constantly taking in and processing information. She learns things very quickly and is quite good at reading people (i. e. getting to know their strengths and weaknesses.)
Timid- Despite what one might assume from her line of work, Yvette likes to keep her distance from people. When in combat, Yvette will always try to create distance and use ranged weapons over melee.

Desperate- As previously stated, Yvette is quite timid and she will reject reality even as it sets in. This can come in handy at times, as once Yvette loses her armor, she gains a attack bonus, and once stripped to her undergarments, she gains another attack bonus. But, when these bonuses set in, Yvette also suffers defense penalties due to her blind attacks.

An Archeress and Her Bow- When combining Yvette's master archery with the magical bow and the magical arrows, Yvette gets a decent attack bonus. Also, the arrows provide a wide variety of effects based on what Yvette needs (e. g. incendiary arrows, acidic arrows, arrows that cause shock waves on impact.)

I tried to get a sense of what Yvette looks like. I like her, but it's your character. Comments?

Thanks! I'll assume she's ready for the adventure, then....is the outfit kind of OK? I put it together from archer-ish looking elements.

Is this character in a match currently? She seems like a good one. If you want to pair her against either Jallan the fencer or Seline the Mage, they are both characters of mine not currently in a match.

splotch, if your offer still stands, I should warn you that my posts will be pretty irregular for the next two weeks. Also, I like Jallan as a character. I don't think that Yvette would like to fight her (sword generally trumps bow,) but:
a) that's not necessarily a bad thing, and
b) Yvette can be clever at times.

Point is, if you'd like a match, I'd like one, too.
