Trouble in the Market Empty Trouble in the Market

Post by cerindclvr Fri Nov 27, 2015 10:01 pm

((Alright, Phantompen, we're gonna try this with the whole freeform rules setup.  I think we should have a pretty good idea of how to do this so i'm just gonna jump right in...))

Raine had taken up an assignment that was posted at the local barracks, an open call to anyone who could locate the Ruby Pendant of Syndra.  A gift from the Queen herself to a local noble, one highly mysterious Mistress Morgane, the Ruby Pendant was rumored to have some sort of powerful magic inside of it that could be accessed by those who know how.  Not knowing a whole lot about how to locate stolen jewels personally, Raine found that the most reputable and easy to find help came in the form of the arena fighter and 'arcane trickster,' Halia.

The two of them wound up in the market at midday -- Halia claimed that there was a jeweler's stall in the grand bazaar that occasionally dabbled in 'secondhand' goods.  If they played their cards right the jeweler could tell them where the jewel had gone, if not set them on the right path.

The market was, as expected, bursting at the seams with people.  It was a fair, sunny day, and everyone's moods reflected this.  The clamor of vendors flaunting their goods filled the air, as did the myriad spices and savory smells coming from various food kiosks, ranging from the exotic to the familiar.  Halia moved easily through the crowd, innocuous but adorable in her tiny green tunic, calf boots, and darker green cloak.  Her pigtails were the most noticeable thing about her, bobbing at what was eye level or lower for most people.

Marissa the jeweler was a slender young woman with straight, silky red hair pinned behind her head in a ponytail.  Her clothing was fine, to reflect her product -- a velvety dark red gown that went from neck to toe, cinched at the waist by a simple belt.  Her fingers glittered with finery; there was hardly a place on her where jewelry should go that she didn't have a band or gem or some kind.  Diamond earrings hung from her lobes and a variety of necklaces sat around her neck.  The young woman had barely begun to respond to Halia's inquiries about the missing Ruby Pendant when there came a disturbance from across the market.

Maybe a stone's throw away, Raine heard an official-sounding cry of "that's them!"  Glancing out of reflex, Raine spotted three women, imposing in their gleaming silver guard's armor.  They resembled the royal guard well enough, though the silver tint to their scanty armor marked them as justiciars -- Syndra's illustrious squad of inquisitors, agents, and law enforcers dedicated to important or highly specific tasks.  Marissa the jewel vendor's eyes widened in genuine surprise and she looked around as if to say "who??"

The three justiciars were working their way through the crowd, Raine was almost certain they were headed her way.  Of the three, one was tall and lithe, standing several inches above the rest and showing off a good deal of fair skin.  A light brown ponytail could be seen sticking out from the back of her helmet, though the visor made it impossible to make out any other features.  She was making way through the crowd with her shield and glaive, gesturing dangerously and causing people to scramble aside.  The other two, dressed identical to her, were just as remarkable in build, gear, and movement.  Of the other two, one was short, almost petite but with generous curves, stood in contrast to her tall and slim companion.  Her skin was a rich tan color that suggested lots of time in the sun, and her hair must have been too short to show from beneath her helmet.  She was carrying a simple but brightly polished staff that seemed to be made from pure silver.  The third was somewhere between the others in build but was a touch more voluptuous than either of them.  Her breastplate was a bit more... pronounced than the others, suggesting a large bust, and the way her metal skirt hung over her hips hinted at athletic thighs and ass.  A blond ponytail came from beneath her helmet and her skin was oh so fair and pale, like cream.  She carried two short, curved blades which were in her hands but at her sides presently.  They moved with a purpose as people hurried out of their way.

"Are you sure that's them?" Raine and Halia could hear the shortest one ask in a higher-pitched voice, a bit uncertain as she gestured with the silver staff.

"I've seen them in the arena before," said the tall one with certainty.  "And at the jeweler we were told about; it can be no coincidence.  If they resist at all, make an example of them in the way that justiciars do."

Halia gulped audibly.  "J-justiciars?  I've seen them!  They uh, strip first and ask questions later, if you catch my drift," the half elf said quickly.  "Mar! Did you set us up!?" she asked in disbelief.

"I was just about to tell you I know where the Pendant is!" she squeaked anxiously.  "M-maybe we can just explain to them...?" Marissa trailed off as she looked at the three guards, quickly approaching.  The one holding the staff had just produced a silvery set of manacles and was holding them in her free hand, letting them dangle dangerously.  Marissa's eyes went a touch wider.

"S-surely we can explain!" Marissa ventured, stepping from behind her kiosk and approaching the guards with her hands held high.  "Ladies!  Surely we can speak about this reasonabl-" she began but was cut off instantly.

"She's making a distraction for her cohorts," the tall one instantly concluded in a manner that would've been comical in any other situation.  Without thinking, the short one stepped forth and threw the manacles, which uncannily (magically, Halia and Raine were certain) flew out and clamped down on Marissa's wrists.  Hands above her head, the manacles seemed to stay frozen in midair despite the jeweler's instant struggle.  The voluptuous one with the two blades and the pale skin strode forth and whipped her blades in front of her.  Marissa cringed and closed her eyes, turning her head in fear of being slashed to ribbons.  The crowd gasped.  Daring to open an eye and glance down when she realized she hadn't been hurt, she screamed regardless when she saw her velvety red dress had been cut right open in the front.  A neat little hole opened up over her chest as the fabric peeled away.  Her belt clattered to the ground, cut in half.  And the bottom half of her dress, starting right around crotch level, fell away in tatters.  Marissa was stuck, hands above her head, with what barely resembled a dress left over her slender form.  Her bra-less breasts were on display, perky but barely there.  Her tiny, dark nipples were instantly hard.  The poor jeweler was mortified that her tiny tiny breasts could suddenly be seen by the whole crowd.  Lucky for her, she'd opted to wear panties today, if you could call them that -- her sheer, lacy pink thong shone in the sunlight and showcased her slim little butt.

"This is what happens to those that resist or get in the way!" called out the main guard, the tall one.

"Vara! Vara's the one you want!" she cried helplessly as she attempted to wiggle free or cover herself somehow, to no avail.  It wasn't apparent whether or not she was talking to Halia and Raine, or the guards, but it was apparent that the guards weren't satisfied.  They locked their gaze on the other two and continued to hurry through the parting crowd.

"Justiciars... we're not going to have the advantage in a chase," Halia murmured, preparing some sort of magics.  "I say we fight, unless you relish the idea of going to answer a bunch of stupid questions dressed like that!" she blurted.  "Vara's a black market dealer, through and though.  I know the name.  Let's dispatch these three... peacefully... and get on our way!"

As she spoke, as if for emphasis, the shorter one drew forth another set of silvery manacles from out of nowhere.  She began to gesture dangerously with the silver staff in her other hand.  The tall one waited in the back, glaive and shield at the ready, and the one with the two blades carefully lead the way towards the kiosk at which they stood...

Raine had dealt with officers of the law abusing their authority before, and she wasn't about to let these three get away with harassing her! Taking a step forward, the redhead held out a hand in a signal to stop.

"Come no closer, you three! I don't know who led you to us, but you're mistaken!" Raine declared, making sure her voice rang out clear over the crowd. "If you still think we're the thieves you're looking for, I ask you to consider this: you said you saw us in the arena. That means you've seen us fight. So you know what we're capable of, and what we do to those we defeat."

Raine gave her words a moment to sink in, hoping to find hesitation in at least one of the justiciars. "You'll find my comrade and I far more challenging than an unarmed jeweler. If you're still intent on throwing away your dignity, well... you can't stop the stupid from hurting themselves, I suppose."

While Raine was preaching a peaceful resolution, she was preparing for a fight. While her outstretched hand drew attention, her free hand was behind her back conjuring magic. Should the justiciars insist on a fight, she was ready. She'd conjure a wind to throw up the staff wielding woman's skirt and use her distraction to throw the manacles from her hand to one of the other justiciars. Hopefully that would take one of them out of the action right off the bat.

The justiciar scowled. "Just like they said the suspects would respond."
Then everything happened rather suddenly.

Halia had stepped to the side, hands out in a gesture of compliance, some sort of magic on her fingertips. The woman in the lead with the two swords lashed out, fast as lightning, not buying Halia's cooperative stance or not caring. Raine's magical gust of wind went off, as soon as she saw the justiciar's reaction to her words. Apparently they were insulted.

Halia yelped as, in the blink of an eye, the front of her tunic burst into shredded cloth much in the way Marissa's dress had. Her bright green bra shone in the sunlight, showing hints of her taut little strawberry nipples beneath the sheer material. Her fingertips flared a bright white as her spell went off, it's immediate effects unseen.

The short, curvy guard let out a cry as the metal plates that made up her skirt blasted upwards with the magical breeze. The force of the wind nearly took her off her feet -- one leg raised up out of instinct to feebly try and cover her bare thighs and shimmery silver panties. The true nature of her physique became apparent for those few seconds -- her thighs were quite thick and bronzed, just short of chubby, and her rear was round and pronounced. The uniform panties clung tightly to her nethers, and her hands flew behind her back to keep that part of the skirt down. The manacles she dropped, but she held on to the staff.

Halia's spell seemed to take effect then, as the air shimmered. As if predicting Raine's actions, her spell manifested around the two guards in front of them. Thin gold wires glistened in the air, revealing Halia's signature trap. The tight magical bindings had woven themselves around the two forward guards' ankles and threatened to trip them up. The guard holding the two swords swung at the wires a few times, her blades flashing with unnatural speed, with little success. Grunting frustratedly, she reached down to untangle herself at a fateful moment. Raine's little telekinetic magic shove sent the manacles flying from the ground, and they unerringly wrapped around the swords woman's hands. Raine noted just how effective it was; the manacles and the gold wire seemed to keep her hands bound near her ankles.

The voluptuous swordswoman cursed and struggled, bent over at the waist. The curvy short one kept her hands over the back of her skirt and managed to, barely, not loose her footing to the wind and to the wires around her ankles. In the back, the tall one with the glaive wound up a strike. As she spun the pole arm, the blade began to glow a bright, hot red. Within a moment, it seemed to be burning, and suddenly hot white flames shot off of the blade and went soaring at Raine.

She was able to dodge most of the attack, but her cloak was caught by a huge swath of the fiery bolt. Unless she wanted to risk the fire spreading to the rest of her clothes, she'd have to ditch it. Looking behind her at where the rest of the blast had hit, she saw an astounded commoner, blinking in disbelief. The middle aged woman was naked and sooty from the waist up, having been hit by the wayward fire spell. Her heavy breasts hung there, large pink nipples standing out, before she threw her arms up with a shriek and ran away.

"Well, they're not trying to kill us," Halia chuckled nervously as she covered her bra with a hand.

One of the guards was restrained, for now, and one distracted. Presumably the most dangerous one was still fully clothed and well. Raine had time to act, perhaps even more time if she let her cloak burn...

"I just bought this cloak!" Raine cried in dismay as she tore the burning garment from her shoulders. "You're going to pay for that."

The glaive was nasty business, and Raine knew she'd have to take care of the justiciar wielding it before her and Halia's situation got worse. Or at the very least she needed to take care of the weapon itself. Perhaps... ah, yes, that just might do it.

"Fire enchantment, eh? Expensive, and volatile, just like the real thing." Raine said, her hand glowing with energy. "Quite prone to... accidents when overcharged with magic."

Rather than a spell, Raine channeled magic into the woman's glaive, hoping to overcharge the blade and release an unstable burst of flame. Given that the fire didn't seem to cause any physical harm, Raine didn't hesitate with this plan. Hopefully the flame would be hot enough to do something to the woman's armor, and the burst might even be enough to get one of the others.

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by cerindclvr Sat Nov 28, 2015 1:40 am

The tall, lithe guard station at the back smirked at Raine as she watched the effects of just a graze of her magic on the woman's cloak.  She nodded once at the sorceress, as if to say "there's more where that came from," and began to wind up her polearm for another impressive attack.

Halia, meanwhile, seemed to be throwing out more of those incessant golden threads, and was literally running circles around the curvy little guard as she did so.  The fair skinned guard was still struggling with her manacled hands, bound around her ankles due to a combination of unlikely placement and Halia's little entangling wires.  When the arcane trickster was done with the curvy short guard in the middle of her new 'web', she stopped running circles to casually walk up to the other trapped guard and flip her skirt up over her bottom.  The gathered crowd, fearful and shocked at first, found themselves unable to resist laughing at this.  The curvy, well-formed derriere of the pale guard popped into view, quivering gently in the breeze, it seemed.  Her silver panties matched her uniform like the other guard's had, only the silky garment was wedged up between her toned cheeks a bit.

"What do you think you're doing?" blurted the short guard as she went to level her silver staff at the half-elf.

Halia cringed.  "I wouldn't do that if I were you..." she taunted, sticking her tongue out.  "...might regret it," she added, gesturing towards the several strands of gold thread that now wrapped, suspended, around the short guard and around several posts nearby.

"What is this infernal stuff..?" she asked, struggling to move and panicking slightly upon realizing that her skirt, which had been flipped up in the front, was now wrapped against her abdomen.  Her skimpy silver panties were stuck on display, bunched up between her full thighs.  "Release me at once, or you'll all... eh..." she couldn't effectively level an intimidating threat, bound up as she was.  Still, with the staff in front of her, seemingly unbound, she began to chant and close her eyes in the gestures of a spell.

Halia swatted the exposed bottom of the previously sword-wielding guard in front of her.  "Hey!" she barked, struggling helplessly and presumably cringing beneath her visor at the fresh red handprint growing on her butt cheek.

Barely paying any mind to the ridiculous show going on nearby, the tall, able guard in the back had finally wound up her attack.  The bladed polearm was glowing more fiercely than it had before, so it seemed like Raine's machinations were going as planned.  The glaive seemed to form a giant disc as it spun, hot and white.  As if sensing something was wrong, the guard looked at her weapon with some hesitation and skepticism, her posture suddenly uncertain.

The guard in the back let out a quiet curse as she went to hurl the fire at her foe.  There was a flash of bright light from the weapon that blinded both of them briefly, resulting in a cry of alarm from the tall guard.  The last thing Raine did see was a pillar of flame erupting from the glaive and rolling towards her...

Raine felt a wave of heat wash over her, causing her to nearly faint from the sudden warmth, but the sensation was fleeting.  She heard the roar of fire around her and immediately felt dread at what this might mean.  Swatting away some of the smoke and haze, Raine clearly saw the guard she'd been facing off against standing in a state of shock.

Her armor, a good chunk of it at least, lay in a melted heap at her feet.  The right side of her body seemed to have gotten the worst of it, but by some miracle the left half of her armor stayed intact -- the enchantments on it, perhaps.  Her glaive was just a fancy stick, now -- the end was a charred stump where the blade had been.  Perhaps that was why her arm trembled with rage.

It was also, perhaps, because she was naked on the right half of her body.  Aside from a few armor straps that somehow survived the blast, her fair skin was totally exposed.  She couldn't quite cover the naked half of her chest with the large shield in her hand and still ready an attack effectively, so the onlookers were able to gawk at her large, bright pink nipple which seemed to take up most of her smallish breast.  Her slim thigh was also naked up to her hip, where a scorched bit of silver panties managed to stay up by a thread.

At this point, perhaps, it occurred to Raine that she might not have fared much better.  Checking herself, she was relieved to find that her hair hadn't been singed off or anything like that, however... The upper portion of her robe had taken the brunt of the amplified blast.  Having worked as a bit of a double edged sword, the fiery attack left Raine in singed remnants of whatever undergarments she might have covering her chest, but nothing else above the waist.

Halia was staring for a moment, Raine saw, partly surprised at the grand display of magic, but, also, definitely, yep, definitely checking out her new state of dress.

Shaking her head briefly, she looked back at their opponents with a determined look.

"Let's make an example of these bullies and get out of here..!" she said with some zeal in her voice, smacking the pale, voluptuous ass in front of her for emphasis.  Raine noted, now that the smoke had cleared, that the curvy little mage was still trying to cast some sort of spell through that simple silver staff...

((feel free to clarify what Raine is in fact wearing when you next post.
XD
I assumed a robe-like top, pants, cloak, the usual..?))

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by Phantompen Mon Nov 30, 2015 6:57 pm

((Your assumption is correct. Raine's wardrobe is consistent if nothing else.))

"First my cloak, now my robe and my bra!" Raine cried in anger. "You just keep digging yourself into a deeper and deeper hole!"

Raine began to ready an attack on the lead justiciar when she caught movement out of the corner of her eye. The justiciar with the staff seemed to be casting something, and none of the potential spells were good ones for the redhead and her ally. Halia might have been capable of handling the woman before she could get a spell off, but Raine was much more certain of her own abilities.

"Halia! Big girl's yours!" Raine barked to her ally, turning the focus of her magic on the casting justiciar.

With a flourish, Raine summoned a bubble of energy around the justiciar. While it appeared to be a normal magical shield, it was in fact reversed in its purpose. Any spell cast within the shield would reflect back on to the caster, leaving those outside of the bubble unharmed. Hopefully that would cause the justiciar to take herself out of the fight.

With her shield cast and Halia hopefully moving to intercept the tall justiciar, Raine looked down to check her damage. Her top was a complete loss, and her black bra was a ruin. Her breasts were still largely contained, but burned holes were all over the fabric, and the edge of a pink nipple was threatening to pop out of one of the holes with the slightest provocation. She was absolutely going to need to buy some new clothes after this was taken care of.

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by cerindclvr Mon Nov 30, 2015 7:50 pm

The curvy guard muttered an embarrassed "hey!" when Raine referred to her as the "big girl," and Halia promptly looked to Raine and nodded.

Raine glanced back at the lead justiciar, who had dropped her charred stick and was covering her right breast with the now empty hand. The tall, somewhat athletic woman was equal parts humiliated and outraged, if one could judge by her trembling and flushed chest. Her head canted as she regarded the bubble which appeared around her...

She then promptly charged Raine. Her hand came free from her breast as her arms pumped, allowing onlookers to gawk at her bouncing, small teat with its large, puffy nipple. Unfortunately for Raine, she was unexpectedly fast, almost as much the one with the swords had been. Within a few seconds she cleared the distance, and barreled into Raine with her large metal shield.

Raine threw her hands up and attempted to dive aside, expecting to be taken off her feet by the unexpected speed of her foe and the impact of the shield. Instead, she felt a thin line of pressure around her torso keeping her from falling to the ground -- the guard had grabbed her by the middle of her bra with her empty hand. Raine tried to get her feet beneath her as quickly as possible, but the furious justiciar deftly flung the sorceress to the side, by her bra. The motion predictably snapped the singed garment at all the necessary straps and sent Raine flying a few feet into a nearby pastry kiosk. Halia, glancing to the side, cringed in embarrassment for her ally as she landed in an assortment of pies and sweets.

Why are there always pies nearby? Halia wondered and shook her head, focusing on her opponents. The formerly sword-wielding, fair skinned justiciar was struggling with her bonds, and shouting pleas for help while still trying to sound authoritative and commanding: "You, peasant! It is your duty to help me out of this gold cord!" and the like.

One random bold person in the crowd hurled a rotten vegetable in a high arc that exploded on the back of the bound guard's head. Laughter, and of course more thrown objects ensued. At some point a bucket of milk came tumbling out of the gathered throng, intentionally or otherwise, and landed square on her round, upturned ass. The white liquid splashed then trickled down her thighs and back, before the bucket gradually slid off and clattered to the cobblestones below. The voluptuous guard squealed and almost lost her footing, wiggling her ass out of reflex to try and shake the fluid off of it. Her already skimpy panties were plastered to her lovely full ass and now they clung to her smooth looking mound...

Halia was watching this show, wide-eyed and mouth agape. If one knew her well enough they could tell she was barely able to resist joining the spectacle in some form or fashion.

At the height of her distraction, the short guard with the silver staff completed her spell. The easily-distracted half elf turned just in time, her roguish instincts kicking in a second too late, to see three glowing, curved, magical looking blades flying at her from the direction of the justiciar. She yelped and twisted her body in a dodging gesture, but caught several narrow slashes from the levitating swords. The animated things danced around her and waited for a chance to do their work on her clothing, just as Halia noticed the effects of that first pass. Her green tunic fell to ribbons, slowly at first, creamy skin slipping into view along with bright green panties and bra. One of the straps on said bra popped loose as if it had been nicked, as well, leaving it sagging and threatening to slip off altogether at any second.

Raine picked her face up out of a pastry with a sigh. She was fine, besides the fact that her otherwise bare breasts were covered only by a layer of pie cream. The enraged guard was a good ten feet away, and with her free hand was focusing some of that fiery energy. It would take her longer to focus, it would seem, without her weapon. But the spell would go off eventually, and when it did, Raine's bubble would finally pay off. She had to thank the gods that the guard still hadn't realized, or had forgotten, what that spell had been for.

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by Phantompen Mon Nov 30, 2015 8:17 pm

((I think there was a bit of confusion. The idea was that Raine put the bubble around the justiciar with the staff and told Halia to go after the tall one, who she referred to as "the big one" because she's the tallest and most imposing of the three. No matter, I can work with this.))

Raine had to admit that of all the stalls to be thrown into, this was likely the safest and most convenient one. The cream on her breasts did the job of covering up for her, albeit poorly, and the stall's contents weren't painful to land in. The tall justiciar might not know that the bubble was a trap yet, but she might get suspicious if Raine didn't handle the situation properly.

So, acting as if the spell being cast was still a threat, the redhead dashed to another stall to take cover while turning her attention to the justiciar with the staff. Halia's situation was getting worse with every spell, and Raine didn't like the idea of letting her ally down. The staff-wielding justiciar seemed like a competent mage, but Raine was certain she was better.

Just as she had with the tall woman, Raine channeled her next spell into the justiciar's staff rather than do a direct attack. Instead of overcharging it, however, she attempted to magnetize the staff. With enough power, the staff would become a magnet powerful enough to rip the armor right off the justiciar's body. That would certainly throw her off her game.

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by cerindclvr Mon Nov 30, 2015 9:05 pm

((It just so happens to work -- that the curvy one is a touch insecure and immediately assumed Raine was referring to her, haha. As far as Halia's confusion, we can proceed with that as a bit of canon confusion, since she didn't do much this turn anyway XD ))

Raine didn't know if it was fate, or intuition on Halia's part, or dumb luck, but Halia got up in a sprint and began to charge past the whirling magical blades in a daring act of acrobatics that only cost her her other bra strap. She cursed quietly as she tumbled skillfully and got to her feet, keeping a hand on the front of her bra to keep it up. Two little puffy nipples were peeking now. Barely having time to blush, Halia seemed to be letting the blades chase her, directed by the staff wielding justiciar.

The lead justiciar finally gathered enough energy to create another ball of flame, smaller than her glaive had produced but potent-looking enough, which hovered above her open hand. She waited, aimed, and hurled it at Raine. It promptly exploded less than a foot away from her, taking her off her feet with a shout and sending her cartoonishly-smoking figure several feet away into a large trough. Her remaining armor landed around her in pieces, bit by bit with loud hard clanging noises, and her sooty, exposed face looked dazed. Raine could finally see the face of one of her opponents fully -- this one had long, elegant features and somehow exotic, narrow eyes. When she'd realize she was naked in a few moments, she'd feel insecure about her small breasts with the large, puffy nipples, and her unkempt blond bush, or a butt she maybe considered too bony. All in all, she was actually quite the slim beauty with a hint of athleticism in all the right places -- her thighs, calves, and midsection, while slender, sported a nice bit of tone.

The rest of her was unharmed but totally naked. In some places she was soot smeared, like the bystander she'd hit with a blast of flame earlier, her butt was stuck deep in the wooden trough, but her dazed expression really topped off the ridiculous look. People were having a big laugh at this next part of the show. The risk of getting hit by stray magic seemed to be worth it to those sticking around.

Raine finished her spell from her position in cover. She didn't like the fact that the cream topping that had been covered her left breast had slowly slid and dripped off of her while she was casting, but at least her spell felt successful.

The justiciar with the silver staff gestured, still unable to move her lower body due to the thin gold wires woven around her, pinning her skirt up in that perpetually embarrassing position, but she smirked as her magic seemed to be working fully. The silver staff began to glow, as the blades chasing Halia picked up speed, occasionally whipping out to slash at her bottom. Every time they were just an inch or so short, and with each leap or dash she had to make, she let out an exhilarated laugh when she realized the blades had missed.

The curvy short guard furrowed her brow in disappointment, her staff glowing brighter as she tried to force the cloth-seeking blades to fly faster. Halia finally made it within a good twenty feet of the little justiciar, before turning abruptly and sprinting right at her. Her eyes went wide behind her visor as the blades curved quickly to follow her path in a sharp arc.

"I-implausible!" the justiciar shouted and cringed, as Halia, then the swords, flew past her. Sighing in relief, the justiciar looked down to see that everything was pretty much in place -- she'd expected her blades to work against her and leave her half naked. It was then that she noticed her staff was humming... strangely. It wasn't supposed to be vibrating quite so fiercely, and why did her armor suddenly feel funny?

The sound of clasps snapping began to ring out, as they often did in fights in Enferia, and the chubby little justiciar gawked in panic as she held her staff away from her body in disbelief. Her limb out to the side, her elbow stiff, she felt her breastplate give way and instantly fly out to stick to the staff.

"What magic is this?!" she cried in outrage as she felt the gold wires biting into her thick thighs a bit. More scraps and pieces of her armor began to come free under the great magnetic weight, flying up to stick to it. With a little grunt, she found herself eventually unable to resist moving, and the gold wires seemed to draw her closer to the staff she was holding, along with dozens of other little metal objects from nearby. Straining, arms outstretched and trying to keep her body from getting stuck to the magnetized staff, she groaned in dread.

"No... someone, please, you've got to help!" she yelped as the metal plates of her skirt began to slip free altogether, popping off and sticking right to the staff. Her silver panties seemed all the more bunched up around her crevice now, and between her thighs. No one came running. Bracing herself against the staff with a foot, she instantly regretted her decision as anything that remained of her skirt flew free, then, leaving her very exposed bottom with something more like a thong than panties, now.

"Eep!" she squealed, and went wide eyed as she saw Halia running back this way. With the magic blades on 'auto pilot' as it were, and with the angle Halia was sprinting towards her...

It worked, this time -- Halia dashed past, relatively unencumbered by metal objects, but the blades all clashed into the justiciar gloriously. They all seemed to bounce off of her at first, making her bottom jiggle and her chest heave, but within a few seconds it became apparent that they'd sliced right through her clothing and armor. The three magic blades seemed to dim a bit, losing their luster as the magnetized staff sucked them in and added them to its random assortment of objects.

A slow slit appeared on the back of the guard's panties before the stretchy material snapped and sent the ruined garment a few feet away. She screamed as her plump rear bounced properly into view, quivering slightly and sporting cute little dimples. The gold wires that remained wrapped around her somehow dug into her supple flesh, not painfully, but not quite comfortable in the way it accentuated her slight chubbiness.

The rest of her armor that hadn't given way before the blades hit her gave at last. She was left in a silvery bra and a helmet, the latter of which finally gave way when she looked down in shock.

Her features were adorable and a touch on the youthful side. Her hair was short and dark, and presently a little mussed up, giving it a feathery look. Her eyes were a dark rich color, kohl lined with some rather attractive makeup that lent to her slightly exotic appearance. Her lips were full, and her face had just a hint of roundness that probably contributed to her unreasonable insecurity about her weight.

Her cheeks darkened, and she found herself loosing her footing. She cringed again when she stuck to the cold staff, still trying to wriggle free, but to no avail.

Halia finished her circuit around the market and stopped right next to Raine. "Well, that went pretty well!" she chirped, unaware her taut little strawberry nipples were almost completely poking out of her bra.

"What now?" she asked eagerly. "They seem held up, for now, but I don't know how long all of that will hold..."

What Halia seemed to be getting at was that by 'finishing' them somehow and leaving them in a truly compromised state, the two of them might be preventing them from catching up in the short term. Of course, there were risks involved in this plan, not to mention they were both a bit on the naked side...

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by Phantompen Mon Nov 30, 2015 9:35 pm

Crossing one arm across her bare breasts to hide what little she could, Raine considered her ally's words. It wouldn't do to simply leave the trio in their current state; there would be little stopping them from giving chase and trying to exact revenge. Of course, there was at least one way to severely diminish the threat they could pose in the future.

"Hey, Halia, can you do that golden cord trick again?" Raine asked, mischief glinting in her eyes. "I think it's far past time these three got closer as a team..."

Letting her words and their meaning sink in, Raine scanned the crowd for a good candidate for the next part of her plan. Her eyes settled on a petite young elven woman gazing at the scene with crimson cheeks and a mix of wonder and shock.

"You there, young miss!" Raine said, pointing at the elf with her free hand. "Make haste to the nearest guard barracks. Inform their captain that three of Her Majesty's Justiciars have been revealed as corrupt. They attempted to unlawfully detain the two adventurers seeking to find the Ruby Pendant of Syndra. I have no doubt the Queen will want these three punished for their treason."

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

The elf girl nodded twice, slowly, as if making sure she comprehended everything, before bolting off dutifully. She shot a longing glance over her shoulder; either Raine had made an impression or she was just sad to miss whatever was going to happen next.

Halia let out a grunt nearby that let Raine know she was done. In a very short time, she had laid a network of those thin gold threads that wove a very visible web connecting the three remaining guards.

The trickster's body was glazed with sweat and she was panting heavily. This whole fight, including this last bit, had taken a lot out of her. She was delicately holding a thin piece of gold thread, which she offered to Raine.

"I don't know what your exact intentions are... but I'm pretty sure a good tug should do it," she panted, tucking one of her nipples back into her badly damaged bra. "You want the honors?" she said, giving her the thread.

"I think it'll be worth it. I won't be able to do that particular trick for a good while, now," she said, grinning widely as she found herself unable to look away from Raine's barely covered breasts.

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Trying her best to ignore Halia's less-than-subtle ogling, Raine took the golden thread with her free hand and a grateful nod.

"I think everyone will appreciate this little display." Raine said, a malicious grin on her lips.

With a sharp tug, Halia's golden threads worked their magic. The tall justiciar was pulled ungracefully out of the trough, stumbling right into the curvy justiciar. The tall woman found her crotch planted firmly against the bound woman's helpless face, though she barely had time to register this before the rest of the snare fell into place. The staff-wielding justiciar found herself similarly thrown forward, her bound hands planting suggestively against the bound justiciar's plump backside. Both women found themselves forced to bend over their ensnared comrade, their faces -and more importantly, their lips- pressed tightly together.

All in all, the trio of disgraced justiciars found themselves forming a lewd triangle, with the only one still clothed being molested between the two naked women as they seemingly made out above her.

"Have fun, you three!" Raine teased. "My friend and I need to go shopping for some new clothing."

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by cerindclvr Wed Dec 02, 2015 5:19 pm

Halia turned, eyes dancing with mischief and delight as the web of gold wiring shimmered when Raine tugged on it. Seeing what was about to happen, she calmly walked over and unceremoniously pulled off the helmet of the statuesque guard, the first one to be put out of the fight. Her beautiful, silky blond hair spilled out, and her perfectly gorgeous face was revealed in a moment of disoriented dread and embarrassment. Plump pink lips hung open.

"What- what is this! Have you not yet grown the sense to release-" the guard began.

This voluptuous, bound justiciar in the middle looked up just in time to have the tall guard's crotch hit her square in the face as she came flying across the market, pulled by the threads. An immediate, muffled cry followed, as her eyes widened in shock. The tall guard echoed her cry, still dripping wet and dazed, as she felt the hum of the voluptuous swordswoman's mouth on her crotch.

The thicker, staff-wielding guard, still pressed firmly against her no-longer-magnetized weapon, yelled in helpless alarm as she was taken off her feet by the tightening of the wires. They bit deeper into her plump rear as the staff suggestively wedged itself between her ample busom and her thighs. The magic blades that were stuck to the staff faded from view as the spell wore off, and all the tiny miscellaneous objects and pieces of armor fell to the ground. The silver staff positioned itself perfectly between them; when the justiciar got yanked against her bent over companion, the length of the staff nestled right between her butt cheeks.

"Hmmh!" she tried to cry out at the cold silver that was now between her cheeks and mashed against the curvy guard's crotch. When the short, curvy one tried to move her hands, the only thing she found she was able to do was grip that perfectly sculpted ass in front of her more firmly.

The curvy guard and the tall one were both crying out, so when the wires pulled their faces together over their bent-over companion, their lips mashed together in a sloppy, awkward kiss. The tall one seemed to be snapping out of her daze just in time to blush and look around, wide eyed. One could hear her moaning into the 'kiss', if you could call it that, as her companion's struggling, writhing face was still nestled between her thighs.

Unable to hold the pose on their feet, the three ridiculous looking justiciar all tipped over slowly to the side, right into a muddy puddle. Moans and cries of alarm ensued, and they struggled against the wires, but they held firm. More laughter from the crowd followed as did another barrage of rotten fruit and vegetables.

Halia nodded, satisfied, arms akimbo. "It's good to know the people of Enferia still have a decent sense of right and wrong," she chirped, though in the back of her mind she suspected they merely wanted a show, same as her. Shaking her head and wiping some of the sweat from her brow (producing that magical wire, and sprinting at that magically enhanced speed had left her panting, still), Halia turned to her companion and spoke further.

"I think our work is done here," she said with a smirk. "But, maybe we just grab cloaks or something easy," she continued with a frown. "Thinking now about what the justiciar said, this all reeks of a setup. Someone is working against you, Miss Raine," she added, sounding a bit formal.

"That said, we can go dress ourselves, or we can hurry off to Vara and maybe get some answers to what's really going on," Halia concluded. "Time's working against us and..." she stopped, as if remembering something.

"You poor thing!" she said, hurrying over to Marissa. The slight little thing was still bound, hands above her head, her pale little tits poking out boldly in the sunlight. Her ruined dress hung from her shoulders and did little to cover up her treats. Halia suddenly looked conflicted as she produced some lockpicks from her... god knows where, and began to try and work on the manacles.

"No keyholes! Stupid magic manacles..." she grumbled, looking around. "Sorry Mar, it looks like you're on your own this time," she said with genuine lament. Halia glanced at Raine finally, that conflicted look still on her face.

Raine's half-elf sidekick looked uncertain as to what they should do next. The justiciar were bound firmly, doing their best to not get each other off with each squirm and movement, but more would likely come running when word spread. The two adventurers were also still quite poorly dressed for any kind of action... Raine knew that Halia, her guide in practice, knew all sorts of ways through the city one could take to go unnoticed. Then again, how long could grabbing some clothes really be..? Then were was the dilemma of leaving Marissa bound and half naked as she was -- surely some magic could undo the shackles..?

She had many considerations to make...

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by Phantompen Wed Dec 02, 2015 5:39 pm

"We can't just leave her like this, it's our fault she's even in this mess." Raine said, turning her attention to Marissa. "Those justiciars were looking for us, not you."

With a wave of her hand, Raine cast a dispel charm, hoping to negate the magic of the manacles and save the hapless jeweler. If that didn't work, well, Raine wasn't sure what exactly would be needed to remove the magical shackles. Leaving the poor woman to be stuck like that would be unfortunate, but there was little else to do if that happened.

"Also, how do you know they're after me?" Raine asked, turning her gaze back to Halia. "For all we know, you might be the main target of whoever is behind all this. I suppose it doesn't matter in any case, we're both caught up in all this."

The idea of continuing through the city topless did not sit well with Raine at all. Sure, she could keep an arm firmly over her breasts for the most part, but her spellcasting would be hindered, to make no mention of how awkward anything requiring both hands would be. It also didn't help matter that Halia kept stealing looks at the redhead's bare flesh...

"Tell you what. Since we probably need to get moving, you take the lead. I'm sure you know paths with less people, and... maybe a place we could stop by to pick up something to wear really quick? Even if it is just some cloaks like you suggest."

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by cerindclvr Wed Dec 02, 2015 6:16 pm

Halia continued to fiddle with the manacles holding poor Marissa up, whispering quiet incantations that made her eyes flutter with exhaustion.  Raine's dispellation seemed to push the process over the edge, and the manacles fell to the ground with a clatter, temporarily nullified.

"Hmm," Halia noted, picking them up carefully.  "Could be useful.  You okay Mar?"

Marissa rubbed her sore wrists a moment before finally realizing she could cover herself.  "Y-yes, I think I'll be okay!  I, I think I should pack up shop for the afternoon," she said, still a touch rattled and covering her modest chest.

"There's a vendor of cheap clothing nearby... Discreet, too..." Marissa began, regarding the two women, then the justiciar not far away, surrounded by the crowd now.  She began to hastily stuff her wares from her kiosk into bags, leaving her chest uncovered and not seeming to care about her small tits on display as much as she cared about getting the hells out of there.  Halia's eyes went a little wide, presumably having never gotten a look at her jeweler friend's bare chest before, like an adolescent boy almost.  She shook her head to clear her thoughts.

"Riona? I know her spot," Halia said, as if she was thinking about the route they'd take.  "It's on the way to Vara's... safehouse? Dungeon?  Whatever you want to call it, really... let's go!" she said suddenly, taking Raine by the wrist and pulling her along.  Halia seemed full of energy again now, somehow, even though she wasn't going at much more than a jog.  Her free hand, she used to keep her bra in place, to little avail.  If Raine was the type with wandering eyes she'd caught more than a little peek at Halia's puffy pink nipples sticking out from atop the light green fabric.

It was a bit disorienting, getting out of the crowd and working their way down the cluttered, labyrinthine alleyways of the capital's market.  A few blocks later (and barely any people), in a narrow alleyway, was a little, shady looking kiosk.

RIONA'S FINERY read the hand-painted sign above the rather modest clothing stall.  A few drab cloaks and other random articles hung in the back, behind an attractive, short girl clad in all black clothing, from her tunic to her leather breeches.  Her hairstyle was a bit... bold, if not fashionable in various parts of the region, featuring short cropped, almost shaved hair along one side of her head, while the rest of it was not quite mid-length and swept to one side.  Her quick eyes were mismatched -- one was a striking violet color, and the other was dark green.  The cute little pixie of a clothing vendor had something else going on, Raine was able to infer.  Not just from her scarce collection and implausible business model (who wanted a crappy cloak from a shady kiosk in an out-of-the-way alley?) but from the immediate nods she and Halia gave each other, complete with a little wink and a subtle hand gesture.  Some sort of secret thief hand signs, perhaps?

Riona gave a wolfish grin and shifted a toothpick that was sitting in her mouth from one corner of her thin lips to the other.

"My my my, look what the cat dragged in," she mused as she sat back in the seat, surrounded by secondhand clothing, most of which amounted to little more than rags.

"Hey, Ri, in a bit of a sticky situation as you can see, need some clothes on the fly," Halia began breathlessly.

"Whoa whoa whoa, slow down little lady," said the mischievous girl behind the counter.  "We haven't spoken in what, months?"

Raine got a closer look.  She was petite but fit, like Halia but with less curves, and probably about the same age.  Her shark-like demeanor gave Raine a little bit of a bad feeling, as if she could already sense where this was going.

Halia chuckled nervously.  "It's fine, I know the price is going to be exorbitant, just give us a pair of cloaks already, please?" she grinned sweetly, trying to head any trouble off before it began.  Riona merely sat with her self-satisfied grin as she surveyed Halia much in the way Halia had been oogling others.

"Ten gold? Twenty??" Halia said, trying not to sound too desperate, as she glanced behind them the way they'd come.  "Come ooon..." she groaned as Riona shook her head.

"What do you want?!" she whispered, loudly, nearly a hiss, before looking around the alleyway self-consciously.  She calmly tucked a nipple back into her bra, drawing a giggle from Riona.

"You already owe me, had you forgotten..?" the roguish clothing vendor began languidly.  "Plus... you know money doesn't interest me as much as other things...  I like to trade, really, more than I like the feel of gold in my hands."

"I see where this is going!" Halia said, trying not to get too worked up.  "We can get a ratty pair of cloaks somewhere else..!"  she said firmly and began to stomp off.

"Not if there are, oh, dozens of guards milling through the streets looking for two half naked girls..?" chuckled Riona.  Halia turned, fire in her eyes and a cute scowl on her pouty lips.

"What did you... you little..." Halia began, stomping back to the kiosk.  Riona raised her hands in a defensive, I-didn't-do-anything gesture.

"Hey hey now, I'm just guessing.  I really don't know or care anything about your current predicament, except, well, hehe..." Riona reached behind her and pulled aside a patchwork, ragged looking cloak to reveal an understated, but well-crafted one made of fine dark blue velvet.  Behind it, there was another dark green velvety cloak of similar design.  Raine, and probably Halia, immediately felt the tingle of magic upon them as they gazed.

"I'll give you two of my finest cloaks, Halia... I just want to, oh..." she rolled her eyes and gave that wolfish grin again, "squeeze you and your friend's tits while I watch you make out."

Halia's face immediately went beet red.  She glanced at Raine with a mixture of apprehension, hope, and self consciousness.

"Lets say my friend here is agreeable to the kissing part.  There can be no hands, and-" Halia began, entering haggle mode.

"Nope.  Make out, I play with your breasts.  No negotiations.  Do I need to mention how innocuous these particular cloaks will make you..?" Riona said firmly but calmly.  The more Raine looked at the cloaks hidden in the back, the more she began to think that the magic she was sensing upon them was, in fact, moderate illusion magic.  If she was reading the patterns correctly... the wearer was 'blessed' with a sort of innocuousness that made them go generally unnoticed when in an inconspicuous setting.  Walking down the street, someone could almost bump into you without noticing.  The same couldn't necessarily be said if, say, you were in someone's house uninvited -- that would definitely get you noticed.  But for the streets, they'd be invaluable items. "I mean, you're getting a real value here. It's not like I couldn't go see your tits on display every week at the arena," she chuckled. Halia, of course, went a touch redder in the face and tried to not burst into irritated shouting.

"What about my debt with you from before?  If we call that even, mayb-" Halia said, again getting cut off.

"NOPE.  And now you have to squeeze each other's tits and asses while you do it.  You know, really get into it, hehe... I want to see lots of tongue," Riona teased impishly, looking all the more satisfied as Halia dug a bigger hole.  "Try and lowball me again and you really won't like how I up the ante..."

The half elf steamed, breathing hard through her nose and growing redder in the face, mouth shut tight.  She looked at Raine with a shrug as if to say "What do you think?"  If Raine weren't directly involved she'd probably be quite amused -- this Riona character seemed as adolescent as Halia in certain regards...

If I get time, there will be a least a few illustrations for this!  A bit of a preview for now, I'll append any new pics to this thread until someone posts something new below it.

Trouble in the Market Mark0001_by_myds6-d9j2dij

I want to apologize for two things here---that their helmets aren't on as they were at this point in the narrative (helmet with little hair didn't look right, so I opted for hair), and that I haven't filled the market with a crowd.  Maybe in the later renders, but if I do, it will be a huge ton of work making a low-rez medieval market crowd from scratch, and with hi-rez figures in the scene, plus props and set, I'm already pushing my processor.

((Thanks, I've always been a good reader, and good at picking up more about the character than the literal text says. For one set of OC's on DeviantArt, the author was like "How did you get her haircut right? I never described her haircut!" I was like "I picked it based on personality; I'm good that way"...lol. I can't wait until I do the rest, although Halia's wires will probably have to be photoshopped in after. Moving string or rope around in these programs is super annoying, as I learned in the superheroine set where there's ropes hanging off a building.))

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by Phantompen Mon Dec 07, 2015 11:58 am

((Terribly sorry for my disappearance. Work and family and needing to take my cat to the vet, it adds up to eat time.))

Raine could do little more than blush redder and redder as Halia's attempts at bargaining only made the situation worse for the two of them. The initial offer wouldn't have been too bad, but what they had to work with now was another matter.

Still, those cloaks could go a long way towards helping their job. Being able to travel through the city without drawing the attention of any other corrupt guards or justiciars would make life considerably easier.

So, with a deep breath and a bit of a glare at Halia, Raine finally nodded her head. "Alright. We'll... we'll do it. But if there's some kind of catch with these cloaks, I'll make you regret this." she said, making sure Riona knew she meant what she said.

"So, ah, Halia. How do you, uh... want to start going about this?" the sorceress asked, now a bit on the nervous side.

Riona grinned and folded her arms, raising her eyebrows once for effect.

"All of my products guarantee satisfaction.  Now it's time for you to do the same," the roguish vendor mused.

Halia's face was a bright red at this point, moreso when she realized Raine was down with the offer.

"Uh, I, oh... Well," she stammered, glancing between the two of them self consciously.  "I guess, uhm," she continued meekly.

Mocking her stammer with some wordless noises, Riona rolled her eyes and stood up, coming out of her kiosk to walk up behind Halia and shove her abruptly forward into Raine's arms.

"Whoa!" the half elf blurted as she stumbled into the sorceress.  Their lips didn't mash together instantly or anything like that, but their faces were right next to one another, their mixed state of dress causing some skin to press together.

"Now kiss already, dammit, and let's see some tongue.  Oh," Riona said, "and don't be shy with the hands either..."

With that, Riona took Halia's delicate hands and planted them firmly on Raine's ass for her, giving it a squeeze by proxy as she pressed them down.  Halia's blush deepened as she felt her fingers grip the flesh, and her eyes fluttered shut as she puckered her adorable mouth up shyly.

Trouble in the Market Empty Re: Trouble in the Market

Post by Phantompen Mon Dec 07, 2015 12:18 pm

"Well, she's certainly cute. It could be worse..." Raine thought to herself as she closed the remaining distance between hers and Halia's faces.

Something told Raine the Riona wanted to see the two of them "get to the good stuff" quickly. So, once their lips connected, the redheaded sorceress probed her tongue against Halia's puckered lips to try for access. Meanwhile, realizing that Riona putting Halia's hands on her ass rather than her chest might be a clue to her preferences, Raine mimicked the action. Her slender hands squeezed the smaller girl's backside, pulling the cheeks apart and back together.

Doing her best not to break the kiss, Raine tried to peer around Halia's head to see how Riona was enjoying their show so far.
