Prison Break!

((I made a small edit or two to my previous post, fyi.  I have an idea to push things along, but feel free to take the wheel at any point if you have good ideas.  After this I'm officially making things up as I go, so whatever you have in mind will probably be better. xD))

Okay... I'm up, I'm up...came Christie's groggy telepathic voice.  Did you make us any breakfast, luv? she asked with a casual sleepiness.  Where did she think she was?  G'morning, she thought to Raine (or whomever her addled brain thought she was) and punctuated the thought with a small peck on her lips.  Raine's heart jumped and her eyes widened.  The awakening witch pressed her mouth against Raine's with the relaxed passion that only two people who had spent the night together would share, Raine thought.  Then Christie slipped her some tongue.  Raine managed to catch her voice in her chest and keep holding the witch when she first kissed her, but when Christie's warm, wet tongue abruptly slipped into her mouth, she truly started.

Right before Raine let Christie slip from her grip, the two of them shimmered into view.  Christie blinked and they looked into each other's eyes. She hit the ground with an 'oof' as she came to her senses.

Shit, right.  Prison, magic wards, all that.  Gotta work fast.  Christie thought, shaking her head from her spot on the ground, as an incredulous, spell-slinging bookkeeper gradually looked over at the two naked women with dawning realization and irritation.  The guard woman heard it, too, and spun about after a moment.  She dropped her apple and her mouth opened to scream.

Having truly come to her senses, Christie flicked her wrist in the gestures of a quick, simple spell.  When the guard went to yell, the quietest muffled sound escaped.  Someone with their ear to the door might have heard a whisper, such was the effect of Christie's sound-dampening spell.  Leaping to her feet, the witch flung a wild punch at the guard's midsection and caught her with a lucky blow.  The guard let out a barely audible "oof!" as Christie shook her wrist and winced with discomfort.  Is that my stuff?! Let's do this! Christie thought excitedly, leaping at the table and scrambling for the bracers.

The woman who had been writing in the book began to look around frantically for something on her desk.  Flinging some papers aside, she triumphantly whisked up a slender wooden wand and looked like she was going to aim it at them.  Meanwhile, the guard quickly recovered from the lucky hit and tackled Christie from behind, onto the table.  This had escalated quickly, but Raine was moving into action before the bookish woman had even found her focus...

Raine didn't expect she'd be able to tackle the woman at the desk before she could get a spell off. Thinking fast, Raine quickly identified the bundle of belongings that were hers, then grabbed the nearest one that wasn't it and hurled them in the woman's face. Raine's followup would be to dive into the woman and try to wrestle the wand away from her. If she could get her hands on the wand, or find her arcane key, she could get this entire fight sorted out.

Raine grabbed the first thing she could and flung it.  A pair of worn boots, tied together at the laces, flew into the bookkeeper and tangled around one of her hands.  Her attempt at a spell fizzled quietly.  Before she could recover, Raine tackled her to the ground behind the desk.

The two nude mages wrestled with their captors with all of their might.  The bookish woman, thankfully, was not physically daunting -- it seemed like most of her days were spent logging evidence and divining its magical properties, if any.  She attempted to fight back, slapping the sorceress across the face once, ineffectually, and attempting to, well, claw her.  The sorceress hissed in angry pain as the flailing bookkeeper grazed one of her nipples with a fingernail as her breasts jiggled above her.  Raine had the woman's wrists pinned to the ground in short time, straddling her waist with her naked hips.  In protest, the woman thrust her own hips up repeatedly in an attempt to 'buck' the red haired sorceress off of her.  Any attempts to shout out in alarm or anger were still muffled by Christie's magic, though.  In all the struggle, Raine saw a thin chain hanging around the bookkeeper's neck, having slipped out of her robes.  The chain had a smooth stone dangling from it, with a gently glowing rune carved into it that Raine recognized as one of the many defensive glyphs around the prison.  That must have been one of the 'keys' that let an arcanist practice their art here.

Christie almost managed to snake her hands into her bracers as she wrestled with the fully dressed, armored guard.  The stronger woman was on top of her attempting to pin her, and Christie was on her stomach on the table.  Random evidence and equipment dropped to the floor as they kicked and rolled about.  Christie grunted and squirmed, exhausted, but at last was physically overpowered.  The guard woman pulled the witch's wrists behind her and held them behind her back with one firm hand.  The movement of the guard's lips indicated she was giving a command, or perhaps taunting the witch as she took some metallic bonds off her belt and clasped them around the Christie's wrists.  She had been manacled.  It looked like Raine was going to have to save the day again before things got even more out of hand.

The sight of the bookkeeper's necklace gave Raine the glimmer of hope she needed. Inching herself forward, Raine managed to plant her knees on the pinned woman's arms, freeing her hands to reach down and yank the chain free. A sudden rush of relief flooded through the sorceress's body as she felt the oppressive air of the prison wards relax around her.

With the balance of power suddenly tipped in her favor, Raine hopped off the bookkeeper and rose to her feet. With a devious grin, she lifted one hand into the air, and the three other women in the room lifted off the ground in response. A snap of her fingers clamped the bookkeeper and guard's mouths shut. The silence of the room was broken soon after, and Raine appraised the situation in front of her.

"So. Now that I've got everyone's attention, the two of you are going to do exactly as I say if you want to keep any semblance of your dignity intact. Am I understood?" Raine asked the suspended women. "Nod or shake your head, since you can't exactly talk." she elaborated, walking over to Christie and gently pulling her back down to the ground.

The guard and the bookkeeper had to try, at least, to open their mouths or to let out a muffled cry of alarm. It didn't work. Looking at each other with resignation in their eyes, the guard and the scholarly woman nodded, then bowed their heads. They hadn't given up hope that help might come along for them, but for now they seemed to be playing along.

Christie shimmied about, still suspended a foot or two in the air by Raine's magic. She presented quite a sight there, Raine now noticed. Her hands were still manacled behind her back, leaving her bare front totally exposed. Somewhere deep within the prison, an uproar could be heard even from the evidence room.

"Some kind of ward that severely hampers teleportation. Renders it powerless over inanimate objects and only pulls you deeper into the prison." the sorceress explained as she gathered up the bookkeeper's discarded clothing and quickly went about dressing herself.

"Now, however, we can get going."

The levitation holding Christie in the air finally let up, gently placing Christie on her feet. Raine gathered up both her and Christie's belongings and stuffed them into her newly acquired bag, then placed her hand on the manacles holding Christie's hands behind her back... and pushed the Grey Witch forward.

"You're too recognizable." Raine explained. "The other guards would realize you're not one of them. The downside of fame, hm? So, instead, our cover story is that I'm escorting you out of the prison. Queen Syndra wants you for something."

Christie blinked a few times as if to say "pardon me?" but merely swallowed once, hard. She looked at the space where the two guards were and sighed. Someone less haughty would immediately admit what Christie realized -- Raine was all too right.

"Uhm... excellent plan! Just, ah," Christie bit her lip as if struggling to phrase a question properly. Raine pushed her out of the evidence room into the stone hallway. "I noticed you've elected not to supply me with clothing. Of course, it'll really sell the plan," she rolled her eyes. She wasn't about to whimper and cower the whole way... at least not on the outside.

Christie's quiet dissent and scathing criticism of the situation went totally silent as the two went further down the hall. The plan's first test was upon them, a pair of guards making their route down this corridor in their direction.

"I didn't know the Grey Witch was headed that way... she only just got here," the brunette said, folding her arms.

Neither of them seemed to be paying too much attention to Raine at this point, who was pretty well-disguised, all things considered, especially if she had added a bit of magic. Regardless, Raine stepped back and gave the two guards full access to the bound blonde. "In any case, feel free. Her Majesty didn't have a strict time to bring the Witch by."
