Adventure : The mysterie of the Ancient Dwarven Stronghold

Seline and Ellia grumbled angrily and rose from bed with great reluctance...

"Welcome, sleepyheads! We need to hit the road anon, but, in the meantime, want some mashed turnips?" The dwarf seemed unusually happy.

Jessica took some of the aforementioned food, looking at it with suspicion before shrugging and eating it. It certainly tasted worse than the food she was used to, but it was something. Dwarven cusine wasn't famous for its flavor or refinement, after all.

Yuki take some elvish travel bread, put some ham on it and eat it quickly. She hope Minna don't bring with her some darwen bread. Alana do the same.
After that quick breakfast, they begin to prepare herself.

"Okay be ready, we leave in one hours ! we must arrive to the ruin before the night fall" Without someone notice a strange little animal sneak in the bag of Yuki and hide in it.

On the outside of the cave hidden in a big bush, someone who looks like a magician, was in a kind of magical trans.

Seline and Ellia packed their bags, both wishing they had a servant to do their bidding. Seline, was was already saddle sore, wasn't looking forward to jumping back on the horse. Ellia, an experienced rider, mounted up easily, waiting for the others to be ready.

Jessica didn't have much riding experience, but she also didn't own much to pack, and she was ready very quickly.

Minna went and picked up the pots and pans and various pieces of scrap metal she had placed at the cave entrance as an alarm. after all, she might need all this junk again. Then, she mounted up on her donkey, and was ready to move on.

Yuki was not an experienced rider an after a painful day of riding. The group arrive in front of another cave.

Yuki go down of her horse, take a map and looked on it. "Al right girls !! We are arrive to the destination. Inside this cave we can find the entry of the ancient dwarf stronghold ! But before that, I need to rest my poor body from the ride. We sleep inside the cave an begin tomorrow the exploration." While walking strangely the inventor girl enter in the cave and begin to rise her tent followed by Alana.

Minna poked around the cave to make sure there were no creatures hiding in their immediate vicinity, then put down her "alarm system" of metal pots, pans, odds, and ends between their camp and the entrance, and between their camp and the depths below. If something big enough to hurt them came through, it would make lots of noise.

Who will take watch? Jessica asked, as she gathered some pieces of fabric into a sort of bedroll.

Ellia offerd to take the watch. She still wanted to prove herself useful, despite what everyone thought. Seline, who cared little, went to lay down and rest after her weary day travelling.

Alana will guard with Ellia, to protect her and be sure she will not fall asleep.

Yuki going into her tent and begin to sleep. The strange magical animal escape from her bag and go hide in the cave.
Bat going to hunt their diner.
Outside the cave, horsemen step down and begin to set up a camp in a hidden place. A mage begin his meditation. The chief say some word "Nobody attack before they enter into the cave, we let them enter and disarm the trap and after we attack them ! everyone understand ?" silent nodding head answer to the chief.

(Alana and Ellia will make a vitality check 12 to see if they not fall asleep) (Alana success her.)

As she feared, Alana see Ellia fall in the deep sleep sometime later after trying doing her duty watch. This girl was worthless to the end ! Why did they have ta carry such burden for a serious mission.
Alana was bored now she was alone and suddenly she needed to pee. she drink too much before he watch and now the need to empty her bladder was arrive.
she needed to go out the cave but before pass the alarm system of the dwarf (17) she pass the alarm without activate it and going outside to answer to the call of the nature.

The morning come, those who awake can see Ellia sleeping at her post and Alana his missing.

Minna collected her pieces of metal, pots, and pans back into her tinkering pack. She prodded Elia's backside with her boot. "Get up, lazy!"

Jessica was looking for a private place to relieve herself after a restful sleep. She ventured to the cave entrance.

"Huh! What?" Ellia mumbled as she was jostled awake. She frantically straightened her wig and stood up. Realizing she'd fallen asleep Ellia hung her head bashfully. She'd messed up again!

Seline, rising slowly, stayed close to the cave. She couldn't be bothered hunting down a straggler. More reward for her anyways!

A few meter away from the entrance of the cave, Jessica find Alana who was sleeping into a tree. Under the tree, three wolf where sleeping. apparently the wolf wanted to taste Alana and she didn't want.
For the moment the wolf didn't hear you coming, what do you do ?
For the other in the cave, Yuki come near Minna and begin to ask her "Can you read me the run on this wall please ?" she pointed at the end of the cave. (intel check 12 to understand that all Dwarf rune.)

Jessica went back into the cave to tell the others Alana's situation.

"She's napping under a tree?" Seline scoffed. "Well, either wake her or leave her be, obviously. If she's too lazy to join us then she doesn't deserve a share of the reward I say!"

Ellia was inclined to agree, but kept quiet, not wanting to attract attention. She knew nobody respected her enough to listen anyways.

Jesscica frowned, "Um, she's not UNDER a tree, she's IN it..." There are some wolves down below that were apparently trying to get her. And we have two mages, a dwarven tinker, and alchemist, and a...uh, princess...but she's our only fighter. Don't you think it would be useful to go in with her?"

"I'm with ya" Minna said, collecting all her equipment.

"I'm not an alchemist ! I'm great Inventor !" Say Yuki with pulling up her pant "You're right we need her ! She's our only strike force ! Show where did you see her and the wolf !"

The inventor take her rifle and follow the pyromancer girl !

"Sorry about the alchemist thing," Jessica said, as she led them back out of the cave, with Yuki and Minna in tow.

"Fine." Seline said. She needed the fighter, since she was practically helpless hand to hand.

"Let's go help her!" Ellia said eagerly, jumping after the others. They went to aid Alana...

The girl goes out the cave and find the tree were Alana was. under the tree the wolf were still waiting.
Yuki aimed with her rifle and shoot (16) ! the detonation have attract the attention of the wolf before one of them take fire ! This one howled to the death while rolling on the ground.
The other wolf take distance from him, scared by the flame !

In case any wolves weren't retreating, Jessica follows up with a fireball, being careful not to set the tree aflame. (12)

Seline attempted to vanish with an illusion spell (critical success).

Ellia pulled her poisoned comb and lunged at the wolf, boldly (and maybe foolishly) bringing the fight to the beast!
(critical success as well! Maybe my greatest role ever!)

The second wolf take fire too and begin to run away. By any luck, Ellia take a direct hit on the third wolf and her poisoned comb paralyzed him ! The last wolf become unable to take any action. Her fur burned by the fire, a naked wolf run away in shame.
Alana come down :"Sorry for the trouble but in the middle of the night, right after miss little princess fall asleep during her guard duty. I needed to go release myself. So I go out the cave and when I come back, I meet this three wolf and run in this tree." The group came back to the cave.

(Minna, the dwarf rune you read earlier was saying "To enter in Khaz Mordal, press the most important thing for a dwarf". You must find on the wall the rune of Oath.)

"I may have fallen asleep, but I took out one of those wolves while you hid in a tree!" Ellia pointed out. Seline rolled her eyes. She turned to Minna and Yuki.

"I think we should find our way into the cave." Seline said. "It will be dark in there anyways, and i doubt any of us will be sleeping after that wolf attack!"
